I wonder if Marc Jackson sits around his apartment saying, “sure glad those Menendez brothers are on my card or else that card would be worth 5 cents”……
Thanks for the shoutout Rod and for mentioning me to Dave - I did buy the plaque from him and it's displayed in the collection. I agree some of that pricing was outrageous on the cards.
I had dozens of the Mark Jackson cards that I sold recently. Also, one of the Menendez brothers came through my joint and cried when he was forced to remove his hair piece.
12:08 That husband priced those cards back in 1991 using Becket...LOL...today they can be used to start a fire.....lol. You have to find the Erik & Lyle The Menedez Brothers Mark Jackson was randomly in the brothers card listed on Ebay...It is a hilarious custom made card. I cant believe there are 1400 sold comps on that card. 1990 Hoops was my peak of the Junk Wax era and it blows me away that a sealed box still goes for $40 which is what they charged back in 1990 for an entire box...too funny.
First lot was a no brainer at $500 there was enough volume there to resell if that’s what you do..eBay,what not, local auction houses. I definitely would of bought it but again I’m a hoarder I would of pulled what I wanted the rest would of been donated to local police dept & fire dept to hand out to kids.
He wanted $700. If I was going to resell it (it’s what I do), I would have needed it up be a lot less than that. It would have been a ton of work. I like the idea of donating it to the local police dept/fire company to pass out to kids. I need to look into that.
My biggest honey holes for late 90s sealed wax used to be mom and pop online card stores. I was finding lots of deals around 7 years ago on 1997-00 sealed wax. Those avenues have long dried up by now. In 2017 I remember 1997-98 ex 2001 sealed boxes for $500 via Ebay...I think the most recent sale was $6k for that box. Crazy what that market has done.
That last guy with the duke snider Kelloggs card had some decent stuff. I would have tried to offer $100 just to see where hes at lol.....no way i would pay even $20 for a mantle without coa. Pete rose....his auto is worth about 20 so id pay 10 lol
Hey man…. When you cover your wagon like that, people cant see what you bought easily. Now you’re just gonna be pissed when people remove the blanket and start shuffling yo’ shizz around😂.
I see that all the time with comics as well man. I figure they never sell anything, but then the one or two times they sell to someone who might not know about pricing they make the money back lol, crazy though process tho. Enjoy the day my man & much ❤
There is a ton of junk cards out there. We sell a lot of bargain box cards. They are still to go through and relive your childhood. It's all about collecting what you love.

Giants team card is valued at $450 for a PSA 8. $54 for PSa6
It was a very low grade card. No where near a 6.
@@PickingandPunchingCardsOkay, thanks for replying
@ if it was high grade, I would of never of gave that lot to my buddy. I like my buddy but not that much 😂
What a steal for those two boxes for $30. Lots of vintage cards. Lots of money to be made !
Def it was. I wanted to take care of my buddy. He helps me out a lot.

It’s crazy how things have changed. Those junk wax deals are still out there, you just need to search. I sure you got some amazing deals.

This is not in Tampa. This is the Webster flea market. It's the biggest flea market in the state.
@ thx for letting me know I’ll go check them out
$15.00 for an 89 Donruss Erik Hanson card? Sounds legit……
The fact that u r passing on Jackson Chourio RC for 50 cents just tells everyone you definitely don't do MLB😂😂
I must have missed it. I’m
Just getting back In MLB. Sometimes when I go through bargain boxes super fast I miss things. Thanks for letting me know.

You are right! You also see those outliners on EBay usually around the holidays. People buy it because they just want it, regardless of the price.
Those cards are junk

Thanks but I have three unopen boxes to go through. I’ll end up pulling one.
You can buy one for around $15.
