This scene is so funny even when reading the subtitles but if you can understand Korean, It's way funnier. Kim Ha Neul uses ChungCheong-do dialect and as a Korean, it's super funny listening to the conversation. It's so hard to explain this but If I can compare, It's like everyone speaks proper English and there's that one person speaking in a heavy country accent.
I can't read korean but I did get the dialect is different and funny 🤣

I was rooting for Park Seo Joon and I was expecting he would win. Weirdly, I felt bad for Kang Ha Neul as he wasn't a frontrunner. I've adored him since Moon Lovers. When his name was called as the winner, I was shocked but happy for him.
Didn't you know not even Bong Joon Ho of Parasite did not get the best director's award?...it's because there are other beautiful drama and movies out there

Been a fan of him since "To the beautiful you", I've watched every project he had and when he won the best actor award, I've never been so proud! He literally climbed all the way up slowly but in a way that I know, it satisfied all the times he works harder because he really has the talent compared to a few popular ones. I'm not dragging anyone's hard work but sometimes I feel bad and always thinks, Kang haneul deserves more but the fruit of his labor was being recognized and I'm somehow pleased.
@@FOURKS I actually think it's because Bong Joon Ho won grand prize, which is more prestigious than best director. So they basically pick the second best director in line to win the award.

This is the scene that completely made me fall for Kang Ha-Neul's character as Yong-sik. Despite from being a gentleman who know how to treat and love a lady, he is a person who can be a perfect father even if not his own blood. ❤️
I personally think that this is the most beautiful scene in the whole drama. Throughout his life, Pil Gu never had a father figure. He's the kind of kid who'd never burden his mother with his problems so instead, Pil Gu always tried to act like an adult and back himself up, all on his own. In this scene, it was his very first time to have someone to back him up and that someone even announced to everyone that he is his father. You can see tears welling on his eyes the moment Haneul yelled that line. For a kid, it must have been the best moment of his life to finally be able to have the taste of having a father figure.
A great drama with great actors. The child actor was amazing.
This scene and the 'quick, grab my hand' scenes are why he got the award. He is brilliant in the drama. 😎

@@binaldoshi495 Oh, Yongshik was looking for joker and found jokers shoe size. I don't remember exactly but someone gave him list of everyone who has same size and told him to check everyone of them.
So Yongshik being Yongshik forcefully removed that person's shoe and it matched the size of the shoe that joker wears so Yongshik told that person that he is the first suspect.😂😂

I can’t believe this is the same guy who played Wang Wook and title roles in Midnight Runners, New Trial and Forgotten. Kang Ha Neul is really versatile 👍🏻 He’s also very humble and kind to boot. I highly recommend checking out his filmography and watching his works! He’s really a Top Actor‼️

My father is overall a very calm person and I've never seen him get angry before except for this one time. I must've been 9 or 10 years old and woke up one morning, refusing to go to school and I started crying. I was terribly afraid of a teacher I was going to have that day (he was horrible, putting a lot of pressure on the children and getting very angry at those who didn't understand or weren't fast enough). Upon hearing this, my father got so angry that he immediately went to talk to the principal of the school, demanding an explanation as to why this teacher was even teaching if he frightened his students to tears (there were a lot of tears spilt in that classroom by children who felt embarrassed). The teacher got suspended and but he was still working at that school when my younger siblings were still going there. But I felt better knowing that my father could get angry if it was for my sake!
So do my father, he's also a typical calm person, he looks uncare and not interested in many things. But when I was about to entering a high school, i had a test for hours. I was really in a bad condition, I supposed to go to hospital but did the test instead. My dad bring me to the school and watched me from the window during the test just to make sure i didn't collapse there

It's so refreshing that Gong Hyo Jin played a reserved and quiet single mother here compared to other dramas that she is bubbly, talkative and loud. This drama is one of my favorites especially the leads.

I was totally bowled by this drama!! The cast .. script... dialogue... performance... was all spectacular. Its still my number one fav drama. Kang Ha Neul is EXCELLENT!!!

Kim Kang Hoon has grown so fast. I first remember seeing this cutie patootie with a bowl-cut hair in Pride and Prejudice.
He reminds me of Nam Da Reum. They have the acting chops and the looks. They're going to be popular male drama leads someday.

this drama is genius in every sense.. every details scene is just spot on and the scripts are simply refreshing and Clever.. all the casts are brilliant actor.
