You're so right about it's the HIKING, and NOT the backpack. But dang, I know I will be so sorry I did not get that G420 jeez, what a great price. BTW way: GREAT, BEAUTIFUL Video. 100% enjoyed.
Nice looking pack. Agree about the water bottle pockets looking huge. I've been looking at that route to Eagle Rock. Looks like a decent alternative. The dogs and I got chased by a bull last time we went from the Fire Station side. People walked by fine. I think it was because I had dogs. Been there before with them but never with the cows so close to the trail.
@HeyItsTim Nice video! I think it would be great fun to hike with you, I love your sense of humor and amazement. I thought you had the Gossamer Gear hiking poles, they’re really nice, and light too. That umbrella is great when the sun is intense. Be well.
Hey Tim, what's your thoughts on this pack with a bear can? I've got a Kumo that I like, but not sure a bear can is gonna work with it, and I'd like to do some trips where a bear can is required...any other suggestions? Thanks man.
@J.Weldon personally, I think it comes down to the weight of the rest of your gear. The bear can fit in here. But for a pack this size, you have to be carefull to not be more than like 25lbs or so.
Hey Tim, thanks for the great review! I’m currently looking at the medium. What is your torso length? After further experience, are you still happy with the medium?
My torso is 20". The medium is a bit short for me. I wanted it on the shorter side because I was considering removing the hip belt and having the pack ride a bit higher on my back. Crazy ideas!!!
It is the one I like and use👍
and I'm glad you got the blue one to match Grover!
YES!!!!

@HuskyMike yea, I remember you saying the dogs and the cows had issue. This pack is a little big I think for me. I'll add it to the arsenal.
@@HeyItsTim Any parking issues at that trailhead? Someone in a google review mentioned no tresspassing signs.
@HuskyMike there is signs, as the PCT goes through private property. (Cows). As long as you stay on the trail, I believe your okay
