Omg your story is nearly the same as mine.last year November I was playing netball landed and my knee popped and it felt horrible got my x-ray and they said my knee was not broken so I was okay but my knee always gave way and I got 4 month of physio but it didn’t help.Only got my MRI a couple weeks ago and I have my consultation appointment January 30th then my surgery
@@Madison-Grace-80 I actually think that’s the date I had my surgery! I hope it all goes well for you🥰 just make sure you have good physio after your surgery cos I didn’t and was in crutches for 6 weeks or so. And also, lots of laxatives when taking pain killers. The constipation was the worst part of it all
@@Madison-Grace-80yes absolutely! Took about 9 months for me to run again but that was just a confidence thing. They told me it takes about 9-12 months to recover fully
It will be so worth it a few weeks of discomfort is better the. A life time of pain. I remember when I had my foot redone, I had Brocken my big toe in Egypt and didn’t want to go to their hospital so waited unfortunately the bone mended wrong as I didn’t get any medical intervention so I went on waiting list and waited 3 years for the surgery everyone kept saying I would bother, but it hurt after it was done I was in pain and couldn’t walk without crutches for 12 weeks but after that I had no pain so it was worth the small time of my life to get it done
Hi! thankyou so much for this video! It has really helped me ❤ Did you get physio when you first hurt your knee all those years ago or did it just get better by itself? Did you follow a strict regime on physio after the surgery also?
Hello! You’re very welcome☺️ yeah I got physio but it wasn’t helping at all so that’s when I was offered a scan. My physio I was offered after the surgery was poor so I decided to pay someone for better physio!
Thank you so much for this video! My surgery is tomorrow and this was really comforting 😊
@@gp1708 I hope all goes well and I wish you a speedy recovery🤍
You brave soul 😭sending you well-wishes!
Thank you❤ I’m doing much better now! Xx
