Thank you so much for posting this video! I'm having surgery in 3 days and your story is helpful. I understand your excitement..my knee has been swollen for 8 months-- and i've been using a knee brace for about 6 months. It really does stifle your everyday activities. You are blessed to have such a great support system. Your mom is gorgeous, and your wife is bomb fo helping you like she is! I hope you are doing well and you are thriving!
I guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Maximiliano Easton i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I feel for you. I had to wait 5 years because of how young I was when I got injured. I had a wait and see doctor and now I'm preparing for a full knee replacement SMFH.
Hi my name is Billy I had 10 arthroscopics on my right and a partial replacement on my right and I'm fixing to go in on October 21st of 2022 and have an arthroscopic on my left so that will make it four on my left knee
You'll have three little holes in your leg to ride the patella muscle on the kneecap and then one on top of the knee on either side it depends on the doctor
Hi; I’m glad you make this video, I will have my surgery in couple of weeks, and your video has been very helpful for me. I know It’s been a years since your surgery? I was diagnosed with a meniscus tear left knee and I had the Cortizone shot about 3 years ago and I am ready to have arthroscopic surgery. Honestly, I'm not afraid of surgery. What worries me a little more than anything is the recovery and if I can walk normally again and exercise like I used to do before. Are You Been able to walk normal again, how you feel.? Thanks
Hi, I had the cortisone shot as well and it did not work. I am back to walking but not fully running/sprinting a year 1/2 later. I’m actually seeing a chiropractor now for minor adjustments. I am getting laser treatments which are helping a ton! I hope your surgery goes well ❤️
Hi I’m a softball player and hurt my knee pretty bad and I need around 5 things done and this is one of the things and wanted to see what happened thank you
I had 2 MRI's done because my knee was so swollen after my injury. They couldn't see past all the swelling with the first MRI. When are you scheduled for arthroscopy surgery? Wishing you tons of luck love.
My knee is feeling okay. Sometimes it gives up on me when I walk around too much or swells up like crazy! But overall, I am healing well. My stitches are doing amazing ♥️
Thanks so much for posting this video...I'm have my knee athroscopy on Monday. I'm a bit worried about something...My menstrual period came early, will i still be able to have the arthroscopy?
Quick question how are you feeling now ? I had my meniscus surgery 3 weeks ago still a little weird feelings on my knee when I first wake up and stretch it also every now and then when I walk not right still I also do PT on my own after regular PT
I still feel weird tingles in my knee almost 4 months post surgery. However, i am able to walk normal for the most part now. Every now and then it stiffens up and I get scared that its going to pop again but my PT said its just a mental thing at this point; because I've gone so long without fully using it, it's just learning how to reuse the muscle and the muscle has to learn its responsibility all over again. I wish you a speedy recovery.
Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Very informative. I'm actually getting surgery soon, too. I am wondering if you could explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that freaks me out!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have fought it and stayed awake if you would have tried or was it impossible? Lol. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!
So when I went to sleep they gave me a pill first while in the waiting room (in the back) to kinda sooth/relax your nerves I guess. I know it made me drowsy for sure. I was actually IV'd to sleep so when I got into the surgery area they IV'd me and I don't remember anything after that. I had some really good doctors that talked me through the IV so it didn't hurt, but my nerves with needles had me thinking I was dying (LOL). I was able to fight my sleep after the initial pill they gave me and I rolled in a wheel chair back to surgery but once they IV'd me I couldn't fight it. Even after surgery they put you in a waiting bed until you wake up and they gave me goldfish to make sure I was able to hold it down. Since you can't eat after midnight the night before surgery. I fell back asleep while eating and don't even remember it. They did also give me a oxycodone before I left and that put me back out!
Hello, I having surgery next week. I tore my ACL and MCL a week before Christmas. Dr waiting for my MCL to heal before surgery. I was told 6 months until I can return work. because I’m a flight Attendant I have to be completely functional before I can return to work. How are you and what’s your recovery and time? If you don’t mind me asking. Oh and I bought the expensive ice machine. 😫 does the fur help with your crutches?
I'm so sorry! I didn't respond. How are you recovering? I am exactly 12 weeks post surgery today and I'm still in Physical Therapy. My recovery has been great surprisingly. They started my physical therapy about 5 days post surgery. I still loose my balance (like when someone hits you in the back of your knees joking and your leg kinda give out) that's what happens when I walk too much or going up and down stairs too much! My knee still gets stiff sometimes. The fur helped a little, after I raised my crutches an inch from my actual height. Hopefully with great PT you can return soon. I am an athlete so they estimated me 3-4 months opposed to the 6 months. But I still can't run, I more so gallop when trying to run. It's so annoying!
@@TaShondaBowser thanks for responding I know your busy with your recovery. Tomorrow I will be 4 weeks post op and I’m still trying to peddle one full go round on the bike. I’m still in this brace 😖😩 but Just after showering I will walk with out the brace a little , not much but I do try. PT is HARD and I’m trying to push myself. I can be a bit of a baby 👶🏽 sometimes.
My surgery was in 2021 and I feel like I have a better knee than the one I had before. It takes time but you will get back to normal activity. The time part depends on how active you are. I do a lot of walking on my job.
Hello hello I am having surgery in my meniscus this week and i would like to ask you about chatether ( somenthink to absorb urine lol) do you have it or not
Thank you for posting, I need to get surgery done, I'm so nervous! question did they provide you the ice machine for home? Or do I have to purchase it myself?

Hi, I torn my meniscus in 2 places and I have a cyst in my knee as well. I'm going back to my dr on the 3rd Nov to hear what he is going to do.
I'm 6 months out and my knee is still huge and hurts . My scars are a little bigger. They did a great job
I'm getting knee surgery on the 22nd of December I hope all goes well
