Yes, such kind of informative videos should be uploaded to generate the truth to brainwashed Indian people who are really biased for bloody British thoughts and works......🙏
I'm not defending Rudyard Kipling here, but the poem that the celebrity had was 'IF', which is an inspirational poem that keeps you going despite all odds. Using it as a yardstick to sabotage a random celebrity is poor research and biased opinion that disregards artistic works and their contribution. Everyone in England was racist , hell, almost all of Europe was racist that doesn't mean all the contributions they did can be diluted by their racism. Rudyard Kipling lived in India and even wrote several works about India which do not have a racist angle eg The jungle book, please refine your judgements going forward. I do love the work you are doing. Keep it up! 🎉

Naman, the poem is good regardless of his misconceptions. Shouldn't we admire the poem and use it instead of disregarding it just because of the guy's views. As long as we are cherishing the poem and nothing else, I don't think we are doing anything wrong. Does anyone agree with me?
I would also like to add the fact that after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, when General Dyer was fired from his position (which itself was a charade), Rudyard Kipling supported Dyer’s atrocities by donating huge amount of money in name of Dyer’s Pension.
Jallianwala Bagh was just a small episode in the whole film. Do you know that Britain had used airforce laden with machineguns against people in Punjab around and after WW1? The reason why this was done was to force Punjabis to fight in WW1. This is the reason for HSRA's rise in Punjab after 1920s. Do you know how many people Britain killed before and after 1857, in the Gangetic valley states? The number is almost 50 - 100 crores.
You are telling the dark side of Rudyard Kipling, and I agree with that. But his literary work should be appreciated. Although I haven't read that poem. Our thinking is shaped by the contemporary society and the same thing is with RK.
"IF" poem of Rudyard Kipling is in 11th standard English book of kerala state syllabus. I am just shocked to see that still we are teaching his works from govt books where lakhs of students read and study it . I think govt need to edit the syllabus.

There are many SSB centres of the Army, Air Force and Navy that have quotes from many philosophers in the world and many times I have seen this poem written on the walls of Army establishments. @@namanshrivastava great insights sir and no disrespect to you but what I want to say is that I can't and i do not want to care about what some random British poet did in support of Dyer. We all know those generals were cruel and atrocious and i absolutely agree that supporting them is the last thing a sensible person can do. Many supported them and this Kipling was also one of them. Can agree on the fact that he was a big time racist and a cruel person. And i ain't denying the fact that he was wrong. He was absolutely wrong. 100%. But i donot think it's wrong to praise a piece of literature. The messenger is not as important as the message. Discarded that morally wicked messenger, and took the morally justified message. And i do not think it translates to being a spokesperson of Kipling. Thanks.
7:00 sir do u expect any foreign rule to do welfare of colonized. Even your native princely rulers exploited downtrodden and appeased the dominant section of the society. U may abuse the foreigners their selfish exploitation, but u can't deny that modernization of today's India is unfortunately imitation of foreigners who ruled us. U urself is wearing the western clothes. If u r so concerned abt the abuse that Britishers did to us u should respect ur culture which u take pride in and wear doti kutra.
Sir your content is good. But I think we can avoid using unnecessary thumbnails. Such tactics nullify the entire purpose of creating an educated community. Regards.
Sir, Britishers are still alive in the hearts of some Indians and people support them despite being well aware of the brevity, what can you expect from them, nationality ? 💀
I still wonder why Mohandas Gandhi is said to be Mahatma as Mahatma he should have known all this or was he purposely staying silent. . It's not Britishers fault they ruled over a couple of centuries, it was our ancestors problem who followed people who only thought of themselves and treated them as Mahatma
@namanshrivastava Small query, can we appropriate what kipling & naoroji said with respect to/ in context with the caste system ( which is unfortunate but still followed in the 21th century) like how certain castes ( some ppl) think and do the same that british did but to other castes? I am not sure but i think ppl are forgetting that first we are born human and later comes caste, creed, color, country, religion, sex etc Its just my perspective, pls dont take it personally, i may be wrg but i am open to others views and will think it through and have to check ur full video contents( as this not the complete video)
May be its the celebration of the art and not the artist ,he may have been racist but the poem that he had written were not all racist but one and you can't dismiss all his work on the basis of his one opinion or one poem ,moreover the couple who placed it beside their family photo were more fond of the poem than the artist .
I have a different view on British Invasion Here me out , I might be foolish to think like this Do I think India would be rich if British didn’t come ? No Why ? All the lands and resources were in the hands of small kings , jamindars and local heads Normal people were slaves Only those small kings would be rich , Normal people will be in slavery only But under British , local slavery ended and new slavery begins where the small kings are also slaves of British This lead to the abolition of prior slavery My point is British rule had major impact in removing the social hierarchy in India I am not saying British is good , they are the worst , but they did some good unknowingly
I respectfully disagree with your stance. You referenced Kipling's poem "The White Man's Burden" to label him as racist, which is a valid point. However, dismissing the entire person based on that alone overlooks the remarkable quality of his other literary contributions, like the poem "If." Are you suggesting that if someone has negative traits, such as being racist (like Kipling) or communal (like the current BJP government), we should completely ignore their other works or policies? By that logic, we shouldn't support any government policy, even if it's beneficial, simply because the government uses communal politics. Supporting a specific policy does not mean endorsing or celebrating the entire person/government. This perspective contradicts your own teaching against cherry-picking data, as you've done the same here. Kindly let me know if I am going in the wrong direction.
Sir, How many universities did India had before arrival of Britain?? None During medieval time, Britain made Oxford and Cambridge. USA had Howard university. But there was no such world class university in Indian subcontinent, when our Kings and Sehenshah was busy making TAJ MAHAL and Big Forts. Why Britain had the industrial revolution but there was no such technological revolution in India or middle east, why so?? WHY INDIA FAILED TO DEVELOPED LIKE GERMANY OR JAPAN AFTER OUR INDEPENDENCE WHAT HAS STOPED US TO DO SO?? IS OUR CONDITION WORST THAN JAPAN OR GERMANY AFTER WW2??
Being a capitalist, I don't reproach Gandhi for his socialist view, while in alignment with his other beliefs. There is no individual with whom we are in agreement with all his advocacies/beliefs.
There's a difference between Socialism and Racism. Here's another article about Kipling - where he found donating for the General Dyer's cause (when Dyer ordered to shoot kids and civilians celebrating Baisakhi during Jaliwanwaalah Bagh). www.tribuneindia.com/news/archive/punjab/rudyard-kipling-gave-10-for-dyer-fund-756595
I have one query with refrence to Rudyard Kipling sir ..is it okay to ignore all his good work just because of his 2 ,3 works which were not good (eg white mans buden theory, donation of 10 $ to dayer fundetc) ..please relpy sir
Sir the so called modern education system which was introduced by Britishers helped lower caste to raise their voice. Should we deny it? Please reply sir, I'm confused
If it really helped lower castes then why so called Lowe caste people are still poor ? The fact is british education system only increased caste division by not educating people in right way. It took us away from our roots. Caste system is a worst thing ever existed in Indian society but it was not originally the part of our culture, it came later and I know our so called lower caste people have suffered a lot due to this but now things are changing. If we reform our education system and make our nation economically prosperous by eradicating poverty then caste discrimination will completely get abated one day.
The Indian monarchy based on caste was overthrown by the British. That's the best part. Had Gandhi's Varna system remained in place, overlordship would have been based on caste. The Varna system is extremely effective and self-sustaining when, in order to prevent rebellion, a segment of the population is purposefully kept ignorant and unconfident. In contrast, the French revolution took place against the monarchy, but SC ST OBC could not do this. Varna system would have never gone automatically if caste based Monarchy had continued. Bengal had a SC king who was ultimately deposed by Muslims with the aid of Hindus from higher castes (Ref: History of Furfura Sharif of Hugli West Bengal). They (Hindu Ruling Class) perceived no danger from external Muslim rulers, in contrast to their fear of the SC, ST, and OBC defying the caste system and taking power.

Bottom line is we indians didnt understand the wind of industrilisation and technology. We didnt change our way and got colonised. We put everything on Karma and my foot, we lost. We should forgive but never forget. World is family as long as there is hammer in your hand. Indian civilisational ethos are forces for common good of humanity but they have no value if india is weak. Western mind work in terms of material wealth and creates product out of everything..basis is exploitation and not sustainability. India should rise and provide balance of material wealth and spritual, philosphyical wealth as well. At the end we are human beings ... we want to live with comfort.

I appreciate your thoughts. And I appreciate your high morals - but it is wrong to forget certain parts of history, and give a blind eye to it. Why? Because he wrote a poem that you find 'amazing'? I don't see the point of being a spokesman of Kipling.
What's wrong is wrong, and should be spoken out loud.
Thanks.
Who said we haven't studied this in history??? Nd if not then how uhh knows??
As history optional student I know more than this..
He was talking about primary and secondary education because students who don't choose humanities stream are unaware of all theses things
Similarly "SOME" people in consider Winston Churchill as their father😒

Sir, Britishers are still alive in the hearts of some Indians and people support them despite being well aware of the brevity, what can you expect from them, nationality ? 💀
Partition of india and pakistan is the most brutal thing british empire did
Not just that, these British sympathisers promote this railway theory via webseries like "Aspirants". At that level.
When we will get apology letter from British ??
They built railways by Indian money at twice the cost with inferior quality majority of that was cargo only
Need voices ❤😊
Sir if I become IAS will you guide me in policy making I have dream to make north Chhattisgarh equally competitive as central Chhattisgarh
One question why the all industrial inventions and industrialisation happen after they came to india . Not before that ??
British re-write history
Bal Gangadhar on casteism if you have courage
I still wonder why Mohandas Gandhi is said to be Mahatma as Mahatma he should have known all this or was he purposely staying silent. . It's not Britishers fault they ruled over a couple of centuries, it was our ancestors problem who followed people who only thought of themselves and treated them as Mahatma
@namanshrivastava
Small query, can we appropriate what kipling & naoroji said with respect to/ in context with the caste system ( which is unfortunate but still followed in the 21th century) like how certain castes ( some ppl) think and do the same that british did but to other castes?
I am not sure but i think ppl are forgetting that first we are born human and later comes caste, creed, color, country, religion, sex etc
Its just my perspective, pls dont take it personally, i may be wrg but i am open to others views and will think it through and have to check ur full video contents( as this not the complete video)
Just saying...dont judge the past in the eyes of present or future...100 yrs later Modi will be called the pakka racist!
Who were ruling when indias share was 23%
May be its the celebration of the art and not the artist ,he may have been racist but the poem that he had written were not all racist but one and you can't dismiss all his work on the basis of his one opinion or one poem ,moreover the couple who placed it beside their family photo were more fond of the poem than the artist .
Meanwhile Tamil movies glorify Britishers in their movies like Asuran
Sir how to study ethics please suggest me
I have a different view on British Invasion
Here me out , I might be foolish to think like this
Do I think India would be rich if British didn’t come ?
No
Why ?
All the lands and resources were in the hands of small kings , jamindars and local heads
Normal people were slaves
Only those small kings would be rich ,
Normal people will be in slavery only
But under British , local slavery ended and new slavery begins where the small kings are also slaves of British
This lead to the abolition of prior slavery
My point is British rule had major impact in removing the social hierarchy in India
I am not saying British is good , they are the worst , but they did some good unknowingly
I respectfully disagree with your stance. You referenced Kipling's poem "The White Man's Burden" to label him as racist, which is a valid point. However, dismissing the entire person based on that alone overlooks the remarkable quality of his other literary contributions, like the poem "If."
Are you suggesting that if someone has negative traits, such as being racist (like Kipling) or communal (like the current BJP government), we should completely ignore their other works or policies? By that logic, we shouldn't support any government policy, even if it's beneficial, simply because the government uses communal politics.
Supporting a specific policy does not mean endorsing or celebrating the entire person/government. This perspective contradicts your own teaching against cherry-picking data, as you've done the same here.
Kindly let me know if I am going in the wrong direction.
Please shed some light on Devdasi , sati and caste system 🙏🏻
Please shed light why they weren't popular before 12th century

Sir, How many universities did India had before arrival of Britain?? None
During medieval time, Britain made Oxford and Cambridge.
😂😂😂😂okay slave nalada tera british ka tha na

So British were intellectuals.
it sounds like you just plagiarized Shashi Tharoor's Oxford Union speech word for word.

All Okay, But how is that is in connection of India vs Bharat Debate ?????
In any way care to explain ????
A narrow perspective on history
I have one query with refrence to Rudyard Kipling sir ..is it okay to ignore all his good work just because of his 2 ,3 works which were not good (eg white mans buden theory, donation of 10 $ to dayer fundetc) ..please relpy sir
Sir help me in the upsc journey to be IAS
Sir the so called modern education system which was introduced by Britishers helped lower caste to raise their voice.
Should we deny it?
Please reply sir, I'm confused
Lower caste is a votebank for politicians. Still they are unheard!
I want to become an IAS officer so should I join in this batch
