Not too worried about the gap - I have mine posed on a high shelf, looking down with his cape wrapped around him, so he looks great. My main annoyance is that (on mine, at least) the ankles are not quite stiff enough and over a period of days he leans forward or back too much and I have to straighten him up again. I'm not sure what to do about that - if there *is* anything to be done!
to loosen the joints, put them on hot water for about 5 seconds and try to articulate it. to fix loose joints, get a product got fix loose joints. it works well
Those extra pair of hands that's supposed to "hold" the wrench is weird. A set of hands that would perfectly fit either a wrench or a gun would suffice instead. I got the platinum version of this one for a good price, fortunately.
The neck issue is unfortunate but not that big a deal since keeping his head in position where no gap is shown looks just fine. The main problem is those awful purple hands, it wasn’t good in 1939 & it’s not good in 2024 .. so dumb. I put all black hands on him & it looks soooo much better. Swap out for black or paint hands black if you want a Batman who isn’t silly looking.
@@MandoAllDay The cover to Detective Comics #27 shows he has light blue gloves, not good but not as bad as purple. The interior pages shows him with purple gloves.. WTF? So goofy. Notice how the new cartoon Batman the Caped Crusader based the look of Bats on his first appearance costume & the animators chose to give him black gloves. Why?… because it looks much better than the silly gloves he had back in 1939.
@@traviswilcox3472 oh wow, i didn't notice the gloves. I did see the trailer of that animated show...it looks really good!!!! but never notice the gloves. good eye. I will have to check that out. Thanks for the heads up!
@@MandoAllDay yeah, mcfarlane doesn’t fit in with the rest of my collection so after a while they just become spare parts for me to tinker with. Only one I didn’t want to use for spare parts was the azreal Batman, then he broke on me.

how much was that plat? the hands....what helped me was warming them up with hot water.
@@MandoAllDay Got the platinum version for $33.
@@duagrentia that's an okay price. if you really wanted it, it's better than paying double for it.
@@MandoAllDay Exactly, the price wasn't double and that's why I got it without hesitation.
@@duagrentia fair enough. Makes sense
The gap has been a huge issue for me.... I am still to get the figure and have an option to cancel the order but i don't know what to do....
yeah, i can see some not getting it. understandable.
maybe wait for a sale?

I might to replace that cape and to hide that gap having my own cape on it will cover that and his tones are all off, I still never opened mines btw.
i have an idea to customize the movie snake eyes figure into a batman one so i might just buy this guy to steal cape so i dont have to make one.
@@theunfunnykidinyourclass1366 that's good idea. use this as a kitbash parts
hahha. don't worry. i have some other figures that i haven't opened either haha
