The two times in my life that I hired a "fitness professional" they pushed me to the point of injury...I bought Pavel's book, I think I'll take it from here.
As someone who rode the couch for years and then decided to get in shape exclusively with kettlebells, the biggest piece of advice I can give is to start with light weights! I'm a grown man and I started with one 20 lb KB and it kicked my butt for months. Fast forward 5-6 years and I can swing a 62lb KB for reps. KB's are a marathon, not a sprint. Take the time to learn proper technique and mechanics and increase in weight will just come naturally.
I've practiced TGU for a while and I still do not see its benefits. I've decided to drop it from my workout program and I have not missed it since then. The other nine exercises are great. Cheers.
poor technique during execution of movements, feels like the guy copied the common exercises, mentioned Pavel and that's it....nope one has to try more...
