Fyi, areas that are normally the "back area" or "employees only area" are usually called BOH, which stands for Back Of House. These are areas where guests are *normally* not suppose to be, but if you are ever allowed to be back there because of some random thing happening, you should consider yourself lucky. I felt like I should mention that because you made it sound like you were back there. Just wanted to let you know so you start using that term.
