US power electrics are a mystery to me. Seem to be so many variants and setups sometimes depending on where you live. Cheers

Neutral and ground are not the same thing Kimber. You are going to shock somebody. Ask your buddy Craig. He will tell you. --Doozer

Hopefully you used breakouts for the outlets with a continuous wire to the welder so you aren’t pulling amps across the 110 plug connections. It is considered poor practice to mix ground with neutral because you are now carrying current on the ground lead back to the panel. If it is the main panel they are bonded there so the path should continue to the transformer. If it’s a sub panel they are isolated but now you shorted them so every ground now can become a current carrying conductor which means your metal toaster coil have a hot case when you are welding. 😮

I am disassembled the cord. Frankly, I needed to make another cord hooked to my generator as we lost power for seven or eight hours. My generator is only putting out on a three 10 round locking socket the regular 110 120 socket is not working so I did abandon the extension cord

How did you mix 110 with 220 without a neutral?
