In the description, can you put the trip itinerary and the services used to get around? Maybe comment on things you would recommend leaving out or adding in. Eventually, I want to do a trip like that.
I wish I knew you were in New Zealand, would have been happy to say hello. Don't know how but no matter. I'm hoping to visit Hobbiton for the first time in March and do the Middle-Earth Halfling Marathon being close to my birthday and I wants to. That tour sounds incredible, glad you had a good time.
James, I so much get it. I traveled there in 2015 and spent the best 14 days of my life there. This is such an incredible country and being on the top of Mount Sunday, experiencing the blowing wind on the top of Edoras was simply the most exciting thing. NZ is the best. Bravo for your work also on the writings of our dear Professor. Can't wait for the next ones !
That looks fantastic James - and welcome to the southern hemisphere! I've got the luxury of being "next door" in Aus. NZ truly is an absolutely beautiful place - and I love how so many sets remain, and how you literally have to drive past "Mt Doom" to navigate the north island.
I think you'll be Brewing more then just books with your fiancé sometime in the future, James. Thank you for showing us how truly beautiful New Zealand is! Congrats and all the best to you & your bride to be.🌹
Oh, I didn't know these tours were still available! I figured there would not be as much interest now that time has passed. I'm glad you were able to enjoy it. It would be a dream come true if I could ever make it! Cheers to you for doing that bungee jump! I am freaked out just watching. Dumbest question ever, but... how do they bring you back up?
Yes they still are operating, and very much high in demand 🙂 As for the bungee jump, they actually come over with an inflatable boat just beneath you and extend a pole for you to grab on to, before pulling you down into the boat. 🙂
Amazing stuff! Looking forward to more videos of your adventures in New Zealand (hope you're planning to share them with us! :D ) as well as your books. Just curious, did you bring the props there, or was that part of the tour/ ticket entrance fees?
At several points in the video: ‘Oh, that looks pricey’ ‘Man, that must’ve been expensive’ ‘Sheesh! That’ll make a dent in your wallet’ Those UA-cam dollars must go a long way 🤪 🤣
This is a great video. Your trip to Middle-earth must have been the journey of your lifetime. Thanks for sharing all these wonderful impressions.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you 🙂
James this is a beautiful video. Just added it to my own bucket list! Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it! And thank you so much for your kind words 🙂
Oh my goodness!! Congratulations to you and your fiancé and thank you for sharing your trip with us. Such a beautiful place!
Thank you so much!
Talk about a bucket list experience! I would love to be able to go to New Zealand someday and see all of these sites.

Congrats on the awesome trip! Hope it was amazing :)
Thanks so much! It truly was 🙂
Lovely video! The breaking of the Fellowship would be an incredible sight. I love that river and shoreline.
Thanks! Indeed, that shoreline with the lake (Parth Galen) is astounding 🙂
Amazing! Thanks for sharing this!
Glad you enjoyed it!

I was wondering where you went with the release of the expanded Letters and some others in the past couple months! So cool though :)
Updates on those books will follow, no worries 😉
That was lovely to see you Really Looked at last on meadows green
And trees and hills you long have known.
Beautiful 🙂
Wow, truly the trip of a lifetime
Indeed 🙂
Dude that looks stunning! What time of year did you visit in?
It was indeed! That was in October last year (so at the start of Spring)
So cool!
😃

That's the plan! And as for your question, props were provided by the tour itself 🙂
@@brewingbooks Ah, the props make it all the more memorable and meaningful. Looking forward to your NZ LOTR videos!
Insane trip. How much did it cost?
There should be costs listed on the Red Carpet tours website if interested 🙂
Definitely makes me want to go!!!
It’s certainly a must for any fan 😃
I'm SO JEALOUS

Sick
😄
whats your accent?
I would say Mediterranean … 😄

Those UA-cam dollars must go a long way 🤪 🤣
If I'd had UA-cam dollars, I wouldn't have spent two years working shifts and other jobs to save up for the trip 🙂
@@brewingbooks yeah nowadays it’s more like UA-cam cents 😂
I respect the hard work though. Makes the reward all the sweeter.
I love how all the tour guests seem to be made up of Tolkien freaks 😅
(I won't pardon these words, for I consider myself one too)😊
Haha! That is indeed what they were/are. And some of the kindest and most fantastic human beings too. Such a great group 😃
