This is adorable. My brother loves to fish so I plan to make this card for his next birthday. Using different colors for the small and large trees really creates a lot of dimension. I've just started using the Picket Fence Pouncers for my more delicate stencils and have been pleased with the results. I also recently purchased one of the new Waffle Flower grid mats and want to try that out for stenciling.Thanks for this wonderful inspiration.

LOVE, LOVE, love this scene! Everything about it is amazing. It makes me happy just to look at it and think about where they are traveling to and if they got lost at all - AND did they stop and ask for directions?? That's the big question. This really reminds me of our family going UpNorth each year for vacation. Two weeks and we all go again. We're going to take a few hours a couple of days and drive around to look for a bigger place. We'll have the third grandbaby and we'll also have our youngest (28) daughters boyfriend, so we definitely need more space. It's a good thing that grandbaby #3 is still cookin' and we aren't short of space this year! As it is, the boyfriend is having to sleep in the lower level rec room. But you know, that's the fun of it and its just for sleeping - otherwise the place has tons of space because of an open concept kitchen, dining room, living room, sun room area. There's this cute little cove off of the kitchen that the two littles just love to go into to eat, so that's always a blast. Hopefully Grammie can still get down on the ground and sit indian style (I don't usually sit that way here at home while we play) so there's enough space for mommy or one of the aunties to come in as well. I'd really hate to not be able to get in there - I'd be crushed! You take care - this weekend is supposed to be extremely HOT here so hopefully it will be more tolerable by you. Be well -

Oh I love this card! I have a vision of a UFO hovering in the top right corner!!! It's dark, they're in a forest and using a map because they're lost! A UFO is all that's needed! Hey, there's a Halloween card idea! Sorry, I got "lost" myself! These car critters are way too much fun! In fact, I think all Lawn Fawn stamp/die sets are fun!! Thanks for sharing a creative idea. I would have NEVER thought to use the "road" die in a forest like you've done. So unique! It never ceases to amaze me how much one can put on an A2 size card without it looking crowded! Change it up and put a Christmas tree on top of the car with the road going thru the forest (don't forget to add some snow)! Your idea of the road die in the forest has my head spinning! YOU'RE AWESOME!!!

Love this card! For your Copics do you put a bullet nib in? I feel like the brush tip is so soft I end up with ink where I don’t want it, especially in small spaces.
No, I keep the brush nib in. I used a bullet tip when I had Spectrum Noirs and I much, much prefer the brush. I just use gentle pressure.🙂
What a clever card design! I love it! What makes the one set of stamps yellow colored?
Thank you! The photopolymer of the stamps turn yellow when exposed to sunlight. So it’s just from being used in front of a big window. It doesn’t look that nice, but it doesn’t hurt the stamps in the slightest. They still stamp out perfectly every time.😊
ah, that makes sense. I had a set do that once, it was also a Lawn Fawn one and it was yellow when I bought it at a scrapbook store. I always wondered why it had turned yellow.

Sadly, I am no longer working with MFT. They let me go effective immediately in May. They were doing some restructuring and downsizing their video budget. I was pretty sad about it. I had a wonderful experience working with them and wish them all the best.💗
