Theres something magical about this masterpiece that makes me cry and feel happy at the same time. Maybe because it makes you realize that all things do fade and disappear.
Immagine the pride and pressure of the pianist ASSOLO that had to be delivered at the end. Even a slight miss touch or out of tempo could ruin the whole build up MOMENTO of this beautiful BALLAD.
So ur basically crying every time u here a song with either a piano, a violin, a trumpet or a fiddle. I hope people don’t think ur depressed cus of that.
Well thats life. Accepting and learning how to deal with life and death, no matter how treacherous it might be. If you can't learn to accept one, then you are too immature to accept the other.
Humanity is crazy beautiful, something we really take for granted. I was able to relive some of my favorite and worst memories from just a single pixar musical track. This had been a really hard year for me and probably many others as well. I really hope you get to live the best parts of your life, I wish you the best of luck, happiness and fortunes.
I’m sorry to hear that it’s been a hard year I know I’ve looked to this track ever since I’ve heard it and honestly this piece brings me full circle in my emotions as most like to dread in a single aspect of the feeling of loss or dread. This allowed me to see the full picture that life moves on and the beauty is in the moment but will always exists in the memories as well. Anyway tho I hope you’re doing a little better this year and I really hope the good memories always outweighs the bad
Kudos to the orchestra and triple kudos to the audience for not applauding right away.. letting the sound die out and silence fill the room, making it so much more powerful! WOW! I wish every audience in the world was like this. If you were in this audience give your self a huge pat on the back!
@@must9691 Sad. I used to get online and talk to them since 2018 but starting this year’s April was the last time I was online with all three of them. I talked to two of them a month ago but it’s scarce talk.

For me, this song perfectly encapsulates the feeling of nostalgia. The joy you get from reminiscing on your best moments in your life followed by a feeling of melancholy from the realization that those moments are forever in the past and cannot be perfectly replicated. I view nostalgia as the perfect marriage between happiness and sadness.

Most beautiful piece of music ever made. The change from oboe to violin, childish to sophisticated, arpeggios up down and all around. It really takes you through the moods of love and life. Someone said it makes them happy and sad at the same time, funny I’m starting to shed a tear typing this but I couldn’t be more happy
I understand where your coming from with that intro. It is quite hard to not hear. However the clarinet was quite impressive and i thought that was a good take away from the performance. And also the school isn't in England or Texas in the US because those places are very well known for their music and would have never let something like that happen
@@andrewbowser5444 your right, as someone whos played in orchestra everyone did a great job. I also do understand that things happen and the soloist was probably just nervous but it was really distracting and a little disappointing for them to crack at what I feel like was the hook of the whole piece. Still a great performance, I was just feeling picky about the solo.
This proves that there are still absolute geniuses of music that live in this world. Music has definitely gone down hill in general but to me this is up there with anything written by Mozart, Beethoven, Etc.
From my standpoint I would not say music has gone downhill, one should not forget the purpose of music or art in general, being a tool of expression in addition to make people enjoy it, and as anything in the world there is no universal joy-bringer. People have different taste and honestly I would rather conclude that compared to the past music has evolved and grew more branches than ever before (from different genres to even subgenres of subgenres, I myself am not even able to name all those since there is such a wide variety, from spiritual to EDM) and has, over the years, become more reachable for anyone thus making its evolution just more interesting. There are definitely genres where I doubt its validation as music but one should not forget there are still people who enjoy exactly this kind of style and through this has validated itself as art. It is exactly same with painting of any sorts, from the classic oil on canvas to modern arts which everyone has a opinion on. And on a final note, the observation of degradation in any aspect in a culture, be it art to the people itself is as old as time itself. Almost or maybe is a constant in nature. ;) This is also just an opinion and no rant or concrete criticism towards your statement. Cheers mate, and have a good one 🍻
