  • Why do bees beard? That is the question. Is it too warm? Is it too wet? Is it too cold? Not enough ventilation? Are they going to swarm? All good questions. What is your answer? And, do you or I need to do anything about it?

Tiss the way of it sometimes, to warm or to humid in the hive is my guess.

Temperatures are running about 50f at night so, I expect they still must be heating up the hive inside and the rain isn't helping them keep dry. Plus, I expect what ever nectar they do get has a lot of moisture, too. Asking these questions helps me for sure.

I believe it's to help regulate temp and humidity. Less bodies in the hive less heaters. Each hive can be different about it. Normal anyway. Take care thks for the vid
