I thought he made a movie on Netflix saying that the NFL was slavery and oppression? He's free why would he want to go back into slavery making millions of dollars in the NFL? Oh I get it. Don't get shit on your shoes and pants
Folks saying "You don't know what it is" but decided not to ask him. You decided to put your head down and not sacrifice. Imagine if our ancestors did the same thing. We'd still be in chains. Grown men afraid to say they were wrong and should've supported Kaep. It would've changed everything.
Exactly. Dudes making excuses for being weak and not caring about anyone but themselves. They could have chosen not to do it but to say “nobody told me” is weak af
"I live in a comfortable bubble" is the realest statement from a professional athlete I ever heard. You could never stand for something you never really experience or feel.
When was Colin ever done wrong? The guy would have played in 2017 if he would've accepted a lower salary. He wanted Aaron Rodgers money after playing like a backup. If he would've accepted a backup role 5 years ago before he sued, he'd have gotten a backup job with a chance to prove himself. He's a greedy fool whose using race to hide the fact that he thinks he's better then he really is, and his pride wouldn't allow him to take a lower job. He's a has been who never really was. It didn't take long for teams to figure him out, and once they did his career was over since he's only one dimensional. 100% facts here.
Regardless of if the money is guaranteed if entire teams decided to kneel there’s no way the NFL would fire everyone on the team. That’s where the unity aspect comes in to me. Slaves had zero leverage and zero fame and during civil rights most activists still had little leverage. It was the unity and strength in numbers that protected the individuals from the risk taken.
Really guys, y'all are so brainwashed that all y'all can think about is money, if Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, and all the other civil rights activists were thinking like y'all we would still be slaves to the white man. None of y'all in half the Man as Kaep. It may not change in your time but what about your children and children children
If NFL players are slaves like Kap said, then why is he trying to play in the league and make himself a slave? The fool discredited himself, and idiot fanboys can't even see his blatant hypocrisy. You lack any critical thinking skills.
@nehemiah kincey, exactly SATAN knows how to tame his SLAVES, just throw a bunch of money at them, and he will fight for nothing but himself, if that...
Kap would have a job if more players backed up him up but they're too afraid to risk their money. The NFL is nothing without the players. The players have leverage but are too afraid to use it. That's why they can't get guaranteed contracts in the collective bargaining agreement.
There is no way thr nfl would ever have guaranteed deals. This sport is too much of a risk first off. Has nothing to do with players standing up in that matter. Is kap black balled? Yes, to a certain degree. Is kap good enough to start on any franchise right now? I don’t know. He’s 35.
It's so disappointing to hear them talking about losing something that's not guaranteed. If they stood behind Kap they would understand their power. Ain't nothing moving without full support. Over 70% of the NFL is black men, who aren't loyal to anything but a check. Without standing up you lost your integrity and your power. Go figure.
Mannnnn. Sad…. Black men will NEVER realize their full power & potential & it hurts my spirit. These dudes sound like modern Amos & Andy to me “I sho do like my bubble boss. I ain’t neva takin’ no knee boss.” 🤦🏽♀️
The NFL owe this man more than an opportunity they owe him a JOB ! How he go from kneeling for justice and losing his job for something he stood for? He’s shown for the last 5 YEARS, consistency ! He has passion and there’s no ONE else doing this .. actions speak louder than words !
Nobody wants distractions and controversy and he is that. Teams just want to play and win games not getting into politics and activist movements. As a viewer I just want to watch a good game not a political movement on the field
Real Question: Would you re-hire a Gardner that sued you for tripping over something in your backyard? Of course not... Not saying it's right, but logic says Kap is done in the NFL.
They actually don't have a lot of leverage. The problem with football is that there is no viable league for players to go to if they have problems with the NFL. In soccer, if you're unhappy in the English Premier League, you can go to the German Bundesliga or Italian Serie A no problem. In basketball, the Euroleague or Chinese league are both options if you really hate the NBA. In baseball, the NPB and KBO are both options if you want out of MLB. Football players don't have other options while the owners are billionaires who can wait out a strike while the players lose their prime money-making years during a strike with no way to go abroad to make money.
@@Klako-ls6yt Leverage to do what? What does the Nfl do to make slaves of these millionaires? Kap is just a hardcore grifter that isn't even black in my book. He grew up a rich white kid with QB coaches, kneeled after being a backup not the superbowl.. I can go on and on about this wanna be and it's facts not feelings.
I really wish that this would’ve been a full interview with Kaep because this doesn’t give the people his point of view of the game today and everything he’s been through. I’m disappointed because I legitimately thought he did a full interview instead of a few mins on camera, and one scenario 😔
Yea, IAA played us. Why B. Marsh kept talking about this was his first sit down intimate interview. Where bout? I have three degrees and that wasn’t intimate.🫣🫣
I appreciate providing Kaep a platform to express his desire to play in the league. That being said, the discussion afterwards was disturbing. They contributed to the false narratives by not conducting proper research and stating facts. Kaep did not sue the NFL. He filed a grievance under the league’s collective bargaining agreement. The grievance alleged collusion and the NFL settled. Why did the NFL settle if there was no collusion? They said “the NFL wants to “protect the shield.” Perhaps they should read the NFL’s “race norming” lawsuit settlement. The NFL was also willing to “protect the shield” to deny former black players’ brain injury claims. “Race norming” assumed black players started out with lower cognitive function. Lastly, they knew why Kaep kneeled and it had nothing to do with the military. He kneeled to protest police brutality.
Kaep is not black and knows nothing of the black experience. Yet again, a biracial tries to center themselves as a leader in the black community. He’s not one of us and will never be.
@@trevorhudson3357 I have had family in the military and if you still genuinely think he kneeled to disrespect the flag or our military, you’re delusional. I mean that in the most genuine polite way possible too; but open up your damn eyes or expand your intelligence. He did it to spread awarness for something, in which he was successful at and now the NFL is shoving the whole “BLM” and Social Injustice down our throats. Which is exactly what he protested. Lastly, if you’re so worried about a man kneeling for the flag, regardless if he did it to be disrespectful or not; Then you really need to open your eyes. Theres a shit ton of more things in this world to worry about than a fuckin kneel Lmao. Also if you want another Veteran’s view of this after serving 18 years AND 3 Combat Tours look at Johnny Richardsons comment
@@NV_Tensa Money is the reason he isn't playing, He told canada they wouldn't pay him enough. He could play right now for the nfl but chooses to grift on the sidelines now. Of course he would only be a backup
This was disturbing on so many levels!!! I have lost a lot of respect for these men. I hear excuses, and grown men asking for permission to follow the masses instead of standing for what you know is right!!! To hear grown men who signed contracts for millions of dollars say "I wasn't willing to sacrifice/where does my money come from" etc... I've been in the military over 18yrs, 3 Combat tours and knew exactly what Kap was kneeling for!!! Spoke my mind about it when needed, and never worried about my less than 6 figure annual salary!!! But you guys are bragging about making over $325,000 a week and can't sacrifice! It's disgusting and disturbing!!!
And then for them to keep saying “FOR WHAT” bro the man was speaking after games and wearing things that let you know what it was for, just say you were ignorant towards it but don’t diminish what YOUR OWN ppl are going through out here but then any other day speak as if Black ppl need help
I love DJ because he's a former hurricane but I don't agree with him saying Kaep is going to divide the core fanbase. Every single game splits the core fanbase. You're either with this team or against it. The whole set up is based off choosing a side.
You speaking as if it didn’t already happened. I’m lifelong Niners fan. I stopped watching football for 3 years. Play the game. This woke world is ridiculous. They’re talking about how the league is 70% black but still think they are being oppressed. Oppressed by Wokeness “Can’t see the Forrest through the trees”
@MePlusYaMoms I was mainly speaking to your “each game divides a fan base”. DJ was right. A lot of fans were turned off by the kneeling. It divided fans of the NFL all around. Fans leaving sports because it ain’t about sports anymore. “Go woke go broke”. As opposed to every week we’re still fans of our teams. That you’re talking about.

This conversation wasn't it. Y'all dropped the ball on what could have been a very impactful and informative episode. I heard nothing but excuses for what the league has and continues to do to Kap. Imagine our ancestors that orchestrated the Montgomery Boycott had this kind of mindset during a time they had way more to lose. In order for change to happen, we must be willing to sacrifice.
Imagine thinking those things are simmilair I mean your IQ MUST BE below average thinking he kicks against the system while being hired by the same ones that run it?
Kaepernick sacrificed a lot. People don't understand that because they couldn't do it. He receives death threats to him and his family. He is an athlete/player that is never going to go away of course he still has love for the players and the game. If your an athlete and your not helping the cause just don't hurt the cause. There are athletes who have criminal charges etc and still playing. I want to see actual change. I support Kaepernick and I wish him nothing but the best!
He also took the settlement money from the NFL plus said the NFL is slavery so why is he going back again? Or why should they let him in he chose his fate.
Not with him. Hate political movement when we simply want to enjoy watching a game. Why not join the politics and have real voters voting for your rights and be more powerful talking to media as a politician?
dude knelt after being benched, could have been in the nfl as a backup but wants more money, said no to canada football to but wanted more money. Sorry coming from a black male, Don't put him in the same room I'll slap him, from someone who really grew up from the hood instead of a rich spoiled household then grifts about it...
This interview just reminded us that pivotal pillars in the black community that have sacrificed their lives and livelihoods for the betterment of us is minimal. Only a select few can do it...and we should put them on a pedestal and salute. These gentlemen here are just regular folk....they not built for the fight.
Yea these dudes are just getting a check and really have no idea of the power we have it really makes me question the integrity of this podcast and what they really stand for.
I don’t know what to say….some black men make me sad. The level ignorance… The blind leading the blind… The crab in the barrel mentality… The sabotaging…. I just don’t know…🤦🏽♀️
@One shot deal critical thinking isn’t something I can teach someone who refuses to think on their own, especially a “so called black man” as you fall yourself. Similar comments were made. Go ask them…
There’s an old Yoruba idiom, “the bacteria eating the vegetable lives INSIDE the vegetable”. Such is the case here. It’s so sad. So so sad. @One shot deal I can give an answer. I choose not to. I don’t have the energy to educate Internet trolls. Process that. Peace to you “racially ambiguous” person.
I hope kap gets to come back. I’m Native American and combat vet as well. I couldn’t agree more with him being able to play and I wish he was still a 49er.
Bro. Kap articulated himself clearly in his interviews and press conferences when everything was going on. How is the dude gonna act like he didn’t know what kap was thinking. He demonstrated eloquently and clearly his position and his goal. I gotta call bs. You just didn’t want to lose your paycheck even tho you knew the protest was the right thing to do. And that’s your choice, but just keep it 100 and don’t play dumb like you were confused.
Let’s not forget that this man led the 49ers to a super bowl. It’s never been a question of can he play in the league. In reality, there’s not 32 Quaterbacks that are better than Kaepernick 💯🔥
Stop it chief. Kap is trash..His performance declined after his superbowl appearance enough to bench him for Blaine Gabbert. If he was better than at least 1 QB, he would be in the league but he isnt, plus he aint serious after the little "whoa is me" stunt he pulled in atlanta 2 yrs ago.

This whole convo got me sick! That’s why as a black man, IT MAKES ME Sick! “Wont stand together, wont stand for SH*T!” Everyone worried about themselves! When Rosa took a stand, did she check with everyone? He wanted to raise awareness and DID! All he is asking for a chance! Y’all so scared of the white man and yourself cause just say it- YOU ARE SELFISH! It’s been 6 years…. And if you still don’t understand the cause then that ignorance is on YOU! Cause in their minds “I gotta eat!” WE DOOMED.
I think this was an amazing episode/podcast for giving us an opportunity to hear Kaep speak on his situation. I'm also appreciative of the different perspectives that were presented. But I gotta say that I came away saddened. I don't know if some of these gentlemen were playing devil's advocate, expressing how they truly felt , or where the line between the two was drawn. I just felt that while I understand there's risk and how tough a situation/choice of that caliber can be/is (i.e., to kneel), not doing so because there was no plan or you didn't understand why seems a little selfish and quite possibly inert. As was said, activists that are pioneers often move based on little other than conviction at first, pulling the plan together as they move. There was equal opportunity, in my opinion, for those with doubts or questions to reach out, research or ask what was going on with Kaep and then to make a decision based off of their findings. To sit idle, citing ignorance, while a movement is being galvanized does not, to me, read prudent or cautious. It just says that it literally wasn't worth it to you, and that's why I'm sad.

Both them fellas are making a impact in a different way. I usually don't comment on anything. But watching this again the message they are sending is dope. The fact you brothers are willing to open the conversation is dope. keep it up.
I am mixed about this interview. On one hand, I love that Kap stood up but in the SAME instance there is a former player sitting here and saying that he had NO IDEA what was going on. That is shocking to me! What Kap stood for was in the media and on social media all day every day, so by him not knowing is irresponsible- and he decided to NOT stand for him BEFORE he knew what was going on AND he told and influenced other teammates against him (Kap). That's the problem right there! If the NFL players had all stood for Kap out of the gate, Kap would have never left.
Kap is not a black man. Why do you want a black former player supporting some Arab who hijacked the movement because he got benched? Black men can’t even control the movement.
There’s too much of a focus on money and not enough on building a legacy. That’s why there’s no guaranteed contracts. It’s normal now to leave a team for a bigger payday and not stay and grow with the team that drafted you. Tyreek is the perfect example. He had the best QB in the league and was one game away from going to a 3rd super bowl in 6 seasons. Why do you want to leave?! I understand you gotta get paid, but how much is good enough? That’s the problem.
It's tough to reject a raise if you think about from the both sides though. If you could triple your salary rather than stay at your current successful business with lower pay it would be hard to turn down.
@@99tillinfinity I respectfully disagree. If a player makes it more about his legacy and not about the money, it shouldn’t be hard. Take Brady for example. You can say all you want that he has a rich wife, but he never made his career about money. It was always about winning and the money followed. Jordan too. The millennial/Gen Z mindset is “secure the bag”. It might have to do with the country going through two financial crises in their 20s. It also might have to do with their lifestyle choices and social media.
@@tdupe4348 I know you disagree, I understand exactly what you are saying any real athlete should value legacy over "securing the bag". But there is just way more to it than that and so much that we do not see, which is why I can see it from BOTH angles. Also you are comparing the "GOATS" and their situations to Tyreek Hill and his.
is there a longer discussion with Kap, more than the few minutes we got at the beginning of this episode? It seems like there was more than what we got.
And BMarsh we love to hear from you bro a lot of people confused my passion with frustration growing up as well, never let them make you feel like you should say less.
Watson can ball till he falls, Kap…. Never been on that level. Maybe a strong arm but there is more to playing QB than that. Watson is flat out ridiculous. That being said, why wouldn’t Seattle bring him in… can’t be any worse than Lock and or if they draft Willis.
Probably because an owner signs Kap...60-70% of your fan base GONE...majority of intelligent people support law enforcement & not criminals...and if u recall, he called the NFL slavery 🤣
Brandon and his team chose this dialogue with what I see as a clear intention that more needs to be understood and said to spark action, action based on an informed dialogue…and that a conversation is what is needed…so we can all better understand and be prepared when each of us are called to sacrifice and offer grace and individually act based on what we determined what path to take as we listened and discussed with others the voices and experiences of those there at the time- or who have an experience of the moment or condition. The conversation regarding Kaep’s decision in that moment and the resounding impact has been going on for five years and has slipped into shadows, smaller outlets, and few have discussed on a broader media platforms about the men there …what they thought, what they needed to act and what led to them deciding to go the path they chose. Dialogues may not offer resolution, they may not undo, but they will provide an opportunity to learn more about actions and thoughts we agree with, disagree with, things we love and respect, and when you can have open dialogue you can power a movement. Maybe when the next moment happens those involved will come together to resolve their fear and frustration and not walk apart, I hope the dialogue continues and, especially for the young talented men in professional sports to better realize their collective and individual power to make real and impactful social change. I appreciate the dialogue and also been moved by the expressions of disappointment in the comments regarding inaction..however these men gave me their truth that day…and that was meaningful to me..whether I might agree or not with how they got there.
Wait! I just started watching the video. Y’all mean to tell me that CK7 is only speaking for the first FIVE minutes?!?!? Also, at this point, it’s too late for CK7. He needs to just continue the work he’s been doing outside of football. I’m rooting for him either way. 🖤✊🏽👑👍🏾
@@tctooeasy1392 it’s not about limitations…..clearly they don’t want him in the nfl, so why not continue doing the great work he’s doing in the communities and concentrate on folks who really want his presence? Oh and it’s never too late for me. You tried it, but I’m not here to insult folks.
@@tctooeasy1392 true…..I’m just saying it seems like the horse is dead so why keep beating it? We know the owners’ intentions when it comes to Kap, so I just wish he’d concentrate and place his energy in causes and people that really matter. Example, if I wanted to be your friend but you keep showing me time and time again that you have no desire to be my friend, nor to be in my company or speak to me EVER, should I keep trying or keep it pushing?
Sorry not sorry - Pac is bringing the value of the show down 😒 Kaepernick’s mission and reasoning for what he did was clear and simple: HUMAN RIGHTS. SOCIAL INJUSTICE. POLICE BRUTALITY. If he was too scared, he should have just said that. But to say he didn’t want to jeopardize his contract/career while holding a rap sheet as long as the Declaration of Independence during his NFL career - and make statements like he did during this podcast on a platform this large is just careless and a slap in the face to those who actually stood for something. I was disgusted by his remarks during this episode.
Kap mission was clearly to grift dafug you on about? He kneeled after he got benched and grew up rich with white parents? Explain how this wanna be black guy did not grift. He also got rich from grifting pathetic to the bone!!!
There were some difficult questions that needed to be asked of Colin. They had a great opportunity, but feels like a bit was left on the field as they would say. God Bless 100%. I would love to see a transparent interview with Colin one day.
Right I agree, they softballed the questions. He had opportunities to get back into the league, and didn't take them because the money wasn't "right." Why didn't anyone ask him about that? No one asked him about comparing himself to a slave in wearing the Kunta Kentae shirt during the tryout that "almost was," and no one asked him how he can justify comparing the NFL combine to a slave auction when all the players go through it, no matter their race. No one seems to be offended that Colin, can take something so horrific as slavery, and compare it to a physical examination and interview that will lead to one making multi-millions. Why not ask him if his heart truly weeps for slavery of the past, then how in good consciousness could he sign a deal with and continue to take money from Nike considering their deep involvement with China and China's enslavement and genocide of the Uyhgurs because of their religious beliefs. The list of questions they should have asked goes on and on... Colin is entitled and truly believes he is the victim who deserves to get back into the NFL He had SEVERAL opportunities and didn't take them. He is a narcissistic child and if the NFL gives him a 4th or 5th opportunity then they are beyond foolish and it will be a publicity signing. No one is talking about his spiral downward before he left the NFL. His lack of accuracy, his predictably in his plays. The truth Colin is not playing because he was not that great, not winning championships. If he was, he would still be playing. The NFL wants winners, they have brought guys back who served time in prison and kept men accused of assault so if he was a winning QB they wouldn't have cared what he did on the sidelines. Let's all stop overlooking his inadequacies on the field by covering them up with the excuse of him being "black balled."
So this is my problem and question I would have asked him as a BLACK MAN!! Kaep you have MADE IT!! Played Football on the highest level made it to a SB, became a historic figure. Called out racism in the league and even won a lawsuit. Why go back to the plantation after making it and knowing they’re not gonna give you a fair chance? It’s Stockholm syndrome to me, you’re bigger than the nfl now F them.
@Stock Starters that’s his job at one company he can play football anywhere. I have been fired from a company that completely won’t let me come back worth nothing so I just went and worked for their competitor lol yeah he won’t make as much money in the CFL but if it’s that’s serious (and he don’t need the money) he can still play
YEAAAAAAH! U invited Kap. Long time comN. It was good to see him smiling. I hope NFL gives him another opportunity. What a great man! I met him years ago and he’s “What U see is what U get!” He’s real! Best wishes, Kap! No kids at home, but purchased your book. ⭕️😷
I think the part that’s missing is his, (Keap’s) intentions wasn’t to cause a lot of confusion, or to have anyone rally. He was doing something based on his own conviction, and he was trying to do it in a way that did draw attention… but like most black narratives it was high jacked and made into something it wasn’t.
@hillock10 1. His goal was not to be in the forefront, he was not trying to be seen. 2. He was doing something for him based on his own convictions, he did not call anyone else to join in. 3. He was told by a military veteran to kneel. 4. He can’t be disrespecting anyone if he was not trying to bring attention to himself. 5. No matter what he did people would find a way to co-opt his convictions and make them about something they were not instead of what he said out of his mouth.
What did he do besides turn down money and take a knee after he was benched and after his teammate already kneeled? He's s fraud like Al Sharpton and Jussie?
@hillock10 you obviously don’t understand the difference between caring for country and caring for people. And you’re obviously not reading what I write. Kneeling for the anthem has nothing to do with the people that fight for this country and everything to do with this countries exploitation of it’s people. Even those who fought. I have people that I care for that served and continue to be taken advantage of by the government, the healthcare system, housing, etc that’s at the hands of the government not Kaep kneeling. You’re conflating issues
@MePlusYaMoms Because the man finally spoke out for himself.. I dont anyone really knew this man has been constantly training these past 5 yrs. and the fact that former top tier players are confirming he's still got it should carry some weight.. Not sure the public knew how determined he is... Somebody should give him a shot..
It's sad that we as a people can't join up and make a difference. Previous comment I saw said we are scared and we run the league and he is absolutely correct! All the brothers support another brother, that would show our true strength! Hopefully one day before I die...

This bring up great conversation…definitely mixed emotions towards the whole thing but I think as a whole that was the time to get everyone together and see what the best possible way to handle what was going on…just shows what we always do in times like this don’t go the extra mile to really see the problem and stand as a whole
It’s just sad that as 70 percent and maybe more that is in the NFL all don’t want to come together as 1 unit. That’s all they got to do…because these owners will not want to compete with what is left.
Money over everything is all I heard... I get these men had to get their bags to take care of their families. However, what if all black players would have moved unitedly and stood firm on their actions? I don't think 90% of our community understands the ramifications of him silently taking "the knee" for his people, re-igniting the conversation of racism, the vast difference in our society, the gaps that have yet to be bridged politically, police brutality and brown on brown violence. He silently shook the core of white comfortable society...that changed the conversation of the master and his unpredictable black athlete. Who had been bought and paid for, because he was a specimen of black physical perfection on any given Sunday. He was the face of the franchise, he was skilled and had a passion for the game. But nobody saw the passion he carried for the ills within our government and our society, that was worsening its grip on the brown and poor of our country. His pockets were laced, he was financially set, he was the NFL's poster boy. All he had to do was shut up and throw a football. But, he did what only a few young black males of power, with a voice, and a platform have done throughout the generations of this. He stood up, took a knee, which spoke volumes, he opened the flood gates of conversation. He reminded us that the social ills still exist and need to be addressed. Thank you for sacrificing yourself for the greater good of our people and our nation. Your actions have not been in vain, you're just ahead of time....
Most of us saw him as a race hustler and people have stopped watching football because of him. Now he is begging to be put back into the NFL, and they don't want him. Deal.
I would like to point out the importance of verbiage when we (black folk) speak on situations. On the topic of Colin being a “distraction”, the brotha labeled Tebow a “good” distraction but never explained why. Which would ultimately mean Colin was a “bad” distraction but didn’t explain why. Let’s be careful because what that is saying is , standing up for what is right no matter the outcome is “bad” standing up for those who are marginalized is “bad” being so much of a distraction that the NFL put BLM and End racism all over the field is “bad”. That’s a poor message about a fellow athlete who literally changed the messaging on an entire sport. Who brought diversity to a once uncomfortable conversation that is now comfortable. But you think he is a “bad” distraction. I’m curious why Tebow is a “good” distraction because distraction only has one definition in the dictionary

They would and could. Winning isn’t the top of the agenda .
Which is why nfl players have the problems they have, too busy looking out for themselves when their lives could be much better.

Real Question: Would you re-hire a Gardner that sued you for tripping over something in your backyard? Of course not... Not saying it's right, but logic says Kap is done in the NFL.
The mentality of these guys is the reason there has been no change since Kaep first kneeled. Guys don’t understand how much leverage they have.
1987 nfl strike says different....
Yeah the mentality of a grifter is so hard...
They settled because it was cheaper than going through with it. Why is he trying to come back to the NFL now?

My thing is if a team is willing to give Deshaun Watson a chance with all his baggage, why not give Colin Kaepernick a chance as well?
not even close to the same player. Deshaun is a top 5 qb in the league... Kap was average.. Deshaun is 26, Kap is 34..
Cause Deshaun is a good quarterback
Watson can ball till he falls, Kap…. Never been on that level. Maybe a strong arm but there is more to playing QB than that. Watson is flat out ridiculous. That being said, why wouldn’t Seattle bring him in… can’t be any worse than Lock and or if they draft Willis.
because its been 6 yrs. NFL average life is 4yrs. Nobody going to hire anyone 6yrs out the league unless its behind a desk or to be a coach

If you sued the league for millions, your not coming back for another shot. That what he did, so I don't see him back in the league.
If you get replaced by Blaine Gabbart, you don't have a shot in the NFL.
This dude is as fake as they come, anyone who thinks he is worth a shit will sign him and it won't be because of all the woke ass pressure

Looking forward to this interview!!!
Wait! I just started watching the video. Y’all mean to tell me that CK7 is only speaking for the first FIVE minutes?!?!?
Also, at this point, it’s too late for CK7. He needs to just continue the work he’s been doing outside of football. I’m rooting for him either way.

No its too late for you… dont put your imitations on someone else
@@tctooeasy1392 it’s not about limitations…..clearly they don’t want him in the nfl, so why not continue doing the great work he’s doing in the communities and concentrate on folks who really want his presence? Oh and it’s never too late for me. You tried it, but I’m not here to insult folks.

We know the owners’ intentions when it comes to Kap, so I just wish he’d concentrate and place his energy in causes and people that really matter. I’m dismayed by the fact that he still wants to play in a league where his message will not be received positively. Example, if I wanted to be your friend but you keep showing me time and time again that you have no desire to be my friend, nor to be in my company or speak to me EVER, should I keep trying or keep it pushing?
@@BarLadyy thats your wish.. not his.
Honestly one of the best podcast. Capetown South African
Would’ve been nice to have had tougher questions like how his Netflix documentary series compared NFL as the modern day slavery.
So he wants a to be a part of slavery I guess. He got benched for Blaine gabbert.
NFL players live better than most of the world lol
So this is my problem and question I would have asked him as a BLACK MAN!! Kaep you have MADE IT!! Played Football on the highest level made it to a SB, became a historic figure. Called out racism in the league and even won a lawsuit. Why go back to the plantation after making it and knowing they’re not gonna give you a fair chance? It’s Stockholm syndrome to me, you’re bigger than the nfl now F them.
Facts 💯
I would have started coaching young talented people or something like that.
You’re right the league don’t owe him shit and neither does cap. Move on
Move on
@Stock Starters that’s his job at one company he can play football anywhere. I have been fired from a company that completely won’t let me come back worth nothing so I just went and worked for their competitor lol yeah he won’t make as much money in the CFL but if it’s that’s serious (and he don’t need the money) he can still play

Dooooooooope episode! Thank you!
You cant sue your employer and then want to still work for them. Life doesn’t work like that.
Prince did it. Took a long time to fight against the music industry but he won
Wow I truly beleive that this interveiw is gonna have a huge impact on him getting another shot in the League.. 💪🏾
Love you guy’s/great take!!!
I'm Lost. On one hand they say nobody knew what he was kneeling for, so did the other guys that took a knee right after Kap know what he was kneeling for.
You can turn on the news and understand what he was kneeling for
He was kneeling for a fake racial narrative because he’s a racist grifter
the kneel became the dap
One of the best quarterbacks hands down he stands on black pride and I stand with him
K..And Nike is a slave company. Where's his knee?
I’m sorry but he literally just spoke about how he silenced himself to show the NFL he’s willing to shut up for a job, he literally just spoke about how much money he can make them basically saying his controversy is marketable he’s pimping himself to the NFL and you call that a man standing on black pride ? SMH
Lightskin pride lol
Kap I know we got mariota rn but I’d love to see you compete for the starting position

How tf yall get away with this click bait ish. Post the entire interview, not yall reacting to something we didn't see. The workout, sitting down with Kaep, IAA post the entire interview or explain why didn't/can't.
He should definitely get a chance to start in the USFL
This bring up great conversation…definitely mixed emotions towards the whole thing but I think as a whole that was the time to get everyone together and see what the best possible way to handle what was going on…just shows what we always do in times like this don’t go the extra mile to really see the problem and stand as a whole
Thank you!
Best episode by far thank you Brandon Marshall
Why they didn’t have kap on for the whole interview? Only had like 2 minutes smh
DJ Williams is spitting facts! Regardless of what people want, Kaep ain't getting another shot in the NFL! It's truly sad!
Nothing sad about mr entitled
Imagine thinking you deserve a job at the company you sued and called slave drivers...
It’s just sad that as 70 percent and maybe more that is in the NFL all don’t want to come together as 1 unit. That’s all they got to do…because these owners will not want to compete with what is left.
Because some of us black people don't grift...
Money over everything is all I heard... I get these men had to get their bags to take care of their families. However, what if all black players would have moved unitedly and stood firm on their actions? We as black people will never see the change we all want because only a few are willing to unite and sacrifice...🤷🏾♂️

I’m confused was that a concert in the middle of the show and where is the rest of the Kap interview
Completely agree!
Kap is good enough to be a backup.. But when you take a settlement from a former employer.former you sued they usually don't hire you back or even expect you to send them your future resume
