Swans getting slaughtered by 112 points to Port in Round 21 was a portent of the grand final when they get attacked they crumble, lot of respect for John Longmire but surely his game plan needs looking at.
Portent of what exactly? We destroyed Port in the Preliminary final. Brisbane beat us by two point in Brisbane six weeks before the GF. Do you know what 'portent' means?
So we were beaten in the last game we played Brisbane by 2 points. They thrashed us in the next game. The2 point defeat cannot by definition be a portent or a warning of a calamtous event about to happen. Ditto for a team that thrashed us in a previous game where we subsequently easily defeated them. There was no portent. The GFagainst Brisbane was an outlier. There was no pattern.
@@OldSheriff They were put under severe pressure by GWS, a team that Brisbane only just beat in the 2nd Semi, and ran them down. You are making things up.
2 firsts and a second for Barrass 😂😂😂. You need to get off the Shrooms over in Bali. The bloke is 29 and has a crook back. Can’t even compare to Tim Kelly age wise. Wasn’t Kelly under 24 at the time. Plus that deal was a laughing stock with what the Eagles gave up.
TK was 26 & uncontracted, Barrass is 28 and contracted for 3 years. KPP's also cost a premium. I think 2x 1st rounders (in the mid teens) would do it. But the point is for WCE to go hard and leverage the hand we have for a change.
Need to listen mate, Hawks are desperate for Barras so he is worth more. If TB wanted to go to GWS, with their backline they wouldn't be offering / or accepting what the Hawks could potentially pay
That beard is looking quite good Schoey
Swans beaten off half back flank by Richmond Port and Brisbane
These are game plan issues
We were outcoached in the GF

@@paulmatters2641portent is an appropriate word given what happened

@@paulmatters2641 Prophetic in that when they get put under severe pressure they crack.

Sober Schoey once again throwing it over to proper hungover Schoey 😂 Making this trade period worth it.
