Nice to see your review. Couple things, in those years it was called a 700r4 trans. later they changed name to 4l60, then 4l60e once it was electronically shifted. last year of 4+3 was 88. lt5 was not lingenfelter. it was a lotus (gm owned at the time) designed engine. Assembled by Mercury Marine because they knew all aluminum manufacturing and assembling in small production runs. Lingenfelter did mod some of their own lt5's as did other like doug rippie. if it has ac delete, it also has the smog pump delete. some cheap dollar store black shoe polish can help the steering wheel what is the code you have? paperclip short a b on aldl will tell u. gently snugging the gazillions of screws helps reduce rattles
You can get you some wheel spacers if you want those newer wheels to come out flush with the fender wells . The early cars even though they shared a lug pattern the offset was much different.
The earlier C4s had shorter suspension assemblies than the later years. That's why those wheels (which are mounted backwards) are not more flush with the fender lines.
