i prefer D1 and i play solo. Looter shooters can get fustrating when playing with someone who practicly speed runs the whole thing, im a bit old school and i like checking every nook and cranny and while doing so admiring the graphics and detail
Veteran player here with 3,300 hours I'd say it's worth every minute of it. Now, I come back to it from time to time when I take breaks from playing other games.
Division 1 is the best of the two.. the Dark zone is bigger and has great verticality with roof tops, multi level garages, sky scrapers, subway tunnels and just overall great city vibes. I'm from NYC and it's the only game I felt at home enough to not use the map 24/7. It's not a 1 to 1, but it's close enough in representation for each neighborhood. The story isn't amazing, but the missions combined with all of the small collectibles, the radio show host, the graffiti and random npc encounters created one of the best game atmospheres. Division 2 was fun, but it failed the core player base by trying to cater to the casual players. The Dark Zone really kept Division 1 alive for much longer than it should have been, but they gutted that experience by making the much smaller areas in Division 2. The streets were pretty boring in DC. The buildings barely had any verticality. The tunnels were kind of useless... overall there was very little in the game to go back to at end game. I hope Division 3 is in a good city with tons of sky scrapers, malls, subways, piers etc and I hope there are tons of rooftops and multi level buildings to run into and fight off enemies and players alike.
this was the best division was playing this few months ago still the most aesthetically pleasing environment shame the spongy thousands of hits mechanics ruined it
Division 1 is awesome, it's just a shame the devs went back on their promise to support it with content for 10 years. It should have a lot more than it ended up with. The atmosphere is MILES above 2, more things to collect and the open world is more engaging in 2, but 1 is the best due to atmosphere, survival mode and the overall vibe. Glad to see the game still has a solid playerbase.
As someone who just finished the main campaign after having never played the game before... yes, yes its worth it. Honestly an amazing game, and one I think Ill be coming back to a lot.
Both games are fantastic in their own right, Personally I prefer division 1. The one thing that only lets down both games is that you HAVE to be online even to play single player, so infuriating to be kicked out of a game when the connection is lost
ive over 700hr division 1 1000+ on division 2 i actually like the first game more and iam about to start another character and end up spending another 300hr or so
Just bought the gold edition for 7 quid on xbox. I owned it on playstation but didn't play any dlc. Got hit with nostalgia playing it on series x today.
Hello 👋I think it's a wonderful franchise that has so much potential. There are a lot of things we didn't do in the first game that we could think about. I think there's a lot to do beyond just keeping The Division online. But I can't talk too much about it now. However, the company does not intend to abandon fans of the first part any time soon: the servers will not be removed. in 2024 the game is also still pretty I think that if Ubisoft decides to release one last big update with a DLC the game can be even more realistic
Yes, it is worth playing. It's a fun game, well PVE wise, but that's on me. I suck at PvP and it's not my cup O' tea. I queue for random groups doing missions or whatever. I just roam around gathering loot to make new builds. I farm for exotics just like everyone else. I let my 10 year old "bonus daughter" play and now she wants the game.
I just loaded up today to play some I forgot how much harder part 1 was. I was getting out flanked so quickly. Trying to do something while random riders just start attacking you from the back lol. Tossing bombs while ducking sniper shots. While the rest of them try to rush you down
Division 1 had an update for Xbox 1 X for a dynamic 4K and HDR and now on XSX it has FPS Boost that works on the X1X code so it’s 4K, HDR and 60hz and so quite comparable to PC if you have a Series X and you like controller, XSX has keyboard and mouse support for quite a few games but I’m not certain it does for Division1. So because of the 1X update and FOS Boost Series X is a really good option for Division1.
@skyfire_swe8520 div 2 still going with the story. Part 1 ends and it's like that's it yet. Yet all the cell phone conversations leading up to day before the flu hits. The day of and after finding the dead agents. I wanted to collect all that stuff. It expanded the story. Mission wise I like part one better the world is just put together better. The dark zone is better.
I had an account long ago on Xbox one and enjoyed the heck out of this game. Thinking about downloading it again but for a PS5 I got and giving it a go!
Besides GTA V, this is my favorite game of all-time and I started in Beta. But, they should have held up Div 2 and worked on stability and lag for this one. They should have also not made Classified Gear available in the Dark Zone, or offered PVE-only Dark Zone. The end result of all the patches should have also been exploited to improve the story and add more activities. Also, the useless gear pieces should have been removed. Overall, excellent game and great for solo players that prefer PVE.
Def as xbox player 50 people I have almost as my much active friends on div 1 😂 in dz there is always somebody coop fun visual u can make Ig looking great on consoles wit neutral lightning as he said he is noob and it's noob opinion...
Opinion of a new guy is better than a 8 year player? Being a solo player isn’t fun? Microtransactions are keeping this game alive? 🤦🏻♂ Wow….that is so far from the truth it’s not even funny. Absolutely dead wrong. While I appreciate that you shared your experience of Division 1, you should have probably played more of this game before talking about something you know nothing about.
Well since division 2 is broken right now iam an 8 yr vet of division 1 and went back to division 1 this week and it’s still alive on ps 4 some long waits though more people on at night had some good matches in last stand Wednesday night but it was good have been farming open world getting gear and playing last stand
I put 600 or so hours into D2 until I got sick of having to grind the same missions over and over again. If they want the game to keep breathing, they need to add new areas and missions. Its sooooo stale. I cant imagine D1 is worth still playing at this point - the game is ancient.
The game is awesome as a single player shooter too , you can get every gear the game offers all alone , of course it's faster matchmaking but , that game can be a solo player paradise.
i prefer D1 and i play solo. Looter shooters can get fustrating when playing with someone who practicly speed runs the whole thing, im a bit old school and i like checking every nook and cranny and while doing so admiring the graphics and detail

Div 1 the best one ... Hope they keep it alive .
Div 1 is always worth playing 😁

Pro tip play on next gen consoles and turn on neutral lighting game will look way better
Doesn't it have on PC?
And crank down brightness to 35% instead of 50% by default.
They are both still breathtakingly good.
This game is much better than I expected! Very well put together game tbh.
this was the best division was playing this few months ago still the most aesthetically pleasing environment shame the spongy thousands of hits mechanics ruined it
That’s not true. If you know how to create a right build, you can one shot almost anything
@@cocofuccorio7913 only with specific things
Long story short: yeah, Definitely! looks better than soo many games that came out in like 2023-2024

If it had the same love as d2 division 1 is a better game. But no new content game is going to die out 😢

Gave this a try online only games are typically a turn off but shoot the gold edition was $5 and change and i can see why it was very popular.
Div1 is a much better game than div2.
Yea
Absolutely. Survival DLC alone beats every DLC to drop for Division 2 imo.

Man i played my ass off 1000+ hours
I started playing D1 at the end of last year and then went on to D2. Both games definitely still hold up but I'd say D2 is definitely in better shape.
It's not look at the environments in each game
@@bn137Would you say that the end game content available for D1 is even close to Div2? I wouldn't. Div 2 has much better missions, farm and variety.

D1 is still the best looter shooter IMO. Been playing it since it came out and I never uninstall it, its just that good.
D1 is the better game. I still play this every night.
on PC? If yes add me on UBI blue_pill

I'm playing the division one level 29 now then I'm going in the underground
I will play Again this Year . 2024
That is where you are wrong, an opinion of a 8 year old vet on this game is far better than yours, you are a new guy to the game...

the game released like 2012 or something 10 or 12 years ago. it wont have always support.
I downloaded it but it won’t launch on Steam. Any help?
Loner player i am. Got a exotic gun on it. Divsion 2 has gone shitty. But it's ok. Dont really do the muti player
Don't forget raids are pretty good
No raids on div 1. We have incursions there.
And the incursions sucked
is this a bot. hmm
I purchased the pts version 2 days ago: can I play or not? It says delta error
PTS is the Public test server. It’s only open when they are putting out a new update and want people to test the beta version of it.
Destiny came after the division
