    I made this cake! It turned out amazing, although it didn't look great, it tasted really good! It was a little sweet for my liking, even though I added half the amount of sugar mentioned in the recipe.
    I am so glad that I found an eggless version of this cake! 😊

    OMG I made this cake yesterday and it was SO. GOOD. I let it sit overnight to blend and the whole thing is a creamy delight. I might try and use less sugar next time (as it was quite sweet for me) but truly amazing. And I'm so happy because there are so many things I can't eat due to an egg allergy.

    Thank you SO MUCH! I’ve tried making honey cake (with egg) once before, and the egg flavour and smell was too much for me, and adding too much vanilla affects the honey taste.
    This recipe is simple perfect!!! Turned out so well.

Thankyou for the yoghurt frosting ❤️. Which one do you prefer with medovik cake, sour cream frosting or yoghurt frosting.

      That's a tough question, both frosting are pretty good. But maybe more on the sour cream. I find that both frostings is soft and smooth, and it's not so sweet, well balanced with the taste of sour cream/yogurt ☺️

      @@gracioustreatz7231 we celebrated our one year anniversary a few weeks ago at our donut place. We are about 30 days away from opening our second store so we are very excited. God is so good. 2 new stores in one year during a pandemic. That is caused ONLY by the grace and mercy of God.

    Hi Fiona, Thanks for giving this wonderful eggless version… I always refer your channels for making cakes.. it has always turned out wonderful in taste for me. I made this recipe today.. tasted yummmm but I don’t get the clean cut when I cut the cake.. any suggestions would be great

      Hi Rakesh. One suggestion is to chill it for one or two hours before cutting the cake. The cut will be much cleaner when the cake is properly chilled

    Hi, thankyou for sharing this recipe. As I am allergic to eggs but been wanting to try this cake for so long I'm really happy you shared this recipe.
    One question though, maybe silly, when you say 600gms of whipping cream, did you mean 600gms before whipping or after?

    Wow, very neat and tempting...one question though, is it haelthy to heat or boil honey? I have been told it's not healthy.

      If you don't like the boiling of honey, just add the water and sugar and butter. But eventually you still need to heat it up until the butter is melted. This part is somehow the authentic way to caramelise the sauce for this cake. I'm not so worry about it because it's not an excessive heating or boiling. The whole process the from honey to butter only took couple of minutes including the on and off heat. So it's not quite an excessive heating. Hope this helps

    Whats the test for done ness of the honey cake how do i know itsdone from the appearance?
    What kind of whipcream did you use? Non dairy?

      Do you mean the cake layers? Yes it's necessary but you can reduce slightly if you don't wish to be too sweet 😊
