Pros and cons to both dates, but I think I would like the $10 date more.. I don't think I would have liked the expensive food (lunch) although the helicopter ride would be nice (but it was also 10 minutes). I also don't need the fancier Uber. I would have spent the money on something else. For the $10 date, I would have pooled the money available and just cooked dinner. I feel that would have been fun, creative, inexpensive and it would be an actual dinner.. =)

Canoe is on d Top of TD bank head office building in mid King/Bay at Toronto Financial District … that restaurant full of Tall Hot suitors , bankers n lawyers . (Biggest Corporate law firm in Canada 🇨🇦 also etc r in that building). I bet this guy n gf go there will feel Fish OUT of water . 😅😅😅 so if they did not plan to go there . Doubt its Romantic 😮cuz it’s unplanned .

I think the $1000 date would have been better if they had been able to choose their own date and decide what was worth the money before they were already doing it
In my humble opinion, with $10 dollars, you could have gone grocery shopping, bought enough food for two meals and done a stay-at-home sort of date. Around the evening time, go for a nice stroll and enjoy each other company. You do not need to spend a lot of money on dates to make the person happy, it's all about the quality of the time and your intention.

@@KyleLeesj I live in Canada bro, I can make food for two with $10. It is possible, may not be Michelin star type food, but it is possible if you have the basics at home (flour, herbs, salt, aromatics). As long as you have that, all you need is some sort of protein to make the meals.
@@KyleLeesj just last Friday, I spent $10 for two thali meals for me and my gf and there were so much food. You just need to know where to go. So it’s doable. And yes I live in Canada too!

Lack of planning ruined the 1000 dollar date. I never been to Toronto. But I know there's gotta be world class restaurants there. Failed both lunch and dinner. Very underwhelming. Whoever planned it didn't take 20 minutes to check google maps and reviews for the best restaurant. If the guy was allow to call the shots, things would've been different. You could go skiing... rent a boat... rent a couple bikes... eat the best sushi... not eat hardened bread... etc.
yes, plus they they didn't share the restaurant names and what they ordered. You could do so much with $1000. The whole cans of caviar and grapes at the beach was kind of strange since they didn't even eat it. If it was presented on a nice charcuterie board then maybe I would be more wowed? Where was the couples massage? or facials for two?

$10 date forsure. Because it is challenging to do many activities it makes you appreciate the date more. Plus finding something to do with a little budget is kind of an achievement that brings excitement. Like "Yes we finally can do this and we only spent this much!" or "Awesome! This concert is free! We can party and make some dinner". There is no comparison of what's better like the expense date. They were comparing what was better the whole time and kind of regretting spending so much.
