I had a bad day today in my professional life. Nothing horrible, just a bad day. Your video helped me to look past it, and see the a larger picture. I thank you for that.
Its wonderful to see so many Catholic priests now evangelizing such a fantastic thing really which should've started a long time ago. Anyway better late than never and to be be honest many Catholics like myself hardly knew much about the Catholic church , and in fact always took everything for granted including our wonderful priests whom we so need in these times. It sure can't be easy and yet we never gave this much thought but always expect them to be super human not considering that in fact it's tough to be in their position. Unlike 'other Christian demonations have it all be it A 'personal income' calling the shots to suit themselves , wives since divorce is accepted and permitted! Where OUR Catholic priests live a life of complete sacrifice, celebacy and most of all deprived of a loved and their precious families dedicating their lives to serving God and us. Thank You brother so much and I know that you will be a wonderful dedicated priest one day. And yet they face so much criticism so many greater tempations and so many restrictions and demands placed on them and have to obey! , God keep you ALL blessed safe and happy with good healh and good cheer always. It sure can't be easy and considering our catholic priests have to forgo so much even their families and no partner in life , one must admit that 'They calling' isn't one for the 'weak in spirit'. once again have a good jouney and God bless you and in everything you do..;)
Thank you so much for this. Wow, did I ever need to hear this today. Having just moved and started a new job, and being very excited about it all at first, has become reality, much difficulty and disappointment. Not to mention aloneness in my new situation. I needed this powerful reminder!! Thanks again!!
I am not a Catholic but I still find your videos extremely well made and inspirational, and I believe they help me grow in my relation with Jesus. Thank you and keep up the great work!
However, with the example of St. Paul it seems to me that even from the very beginning of his mission it was always difficult. His conversion experience was difficult. Being a former persecutor he knew he was going to be persecuted. He was persecuted shortly after starting his ministry, and throughout his whole life. What St. Paul has to offer us about suffering is so much deeper than some encouragement along the way, and I urge you all to contemplate the passages where St. Paul talks about suffering. This particular mystery is much deeper than the average stresses we face in life, and to look deeply into the nature of suffering takes us straight to the nature of Christ. Look very deeply
I really like the content of this video. You mentioned that it is better when Jesus stands besides you throughout the difficulties in life than living in a perfect idealized world. I live in an idealized world everyday, and if takes me away from God then I would rather have the Lord take it away from me.
My name is Dennis and I am an Orthodox deacon))). Accidentally hit on your channel and don't miss the opportunity to get acquainted))), as very interested in the Catholic religion, and would like to learn more about your everyday life, not from books and textbooks. I think you won't mind to chat???)
