You missed one very important thing on the last boss mechanic! The healer must be inside the big soak circle and tank in the small circle while healer must focus chromie and mass heal her during that phase. If you don't her shield fails and it's a wipe. There is a lot of healing the healer must do there, so it would be a good time to use defensive on that mechanic. I recently did a 15 key and my total healing done was more than the top dps total dmg done. Mostly bc of that one thing.
You do not actually need to heal chromie during the soak, she will get to very low health but not die if everyone is alive and soaking. You can heal her up afterward or before the next soak phase.
Hey Quazii! I have seen a lot of guides since the start of DF that I started playing. Your are by far the best and have helped a lot during the progression stage of the season. I also love the plater profile and have recently installed it myself. Thanks for all the good work!
I went through 4 or 5 guides that mentioned all the mechanics but didn't say what to do. I'm so glad I found your channel, you explain each fight and what to do!
You should note on Iridikron that you want your group to all go the same direction to help with stacking the mobs for cleave, generally all groups ive been in just shift left for each conical
Absolutely love these videos. Best content for M+., really appreciate all the effort that goes into them. This dungeon making prot pally seem king for interrupts. That being said, do you think you could release an update to 10.2 tanks PTR impressions after the changess? Im tossing up between a few and would love to know what you think!
That Temposlice spell is probably one of the most important spells to stop. It puts a, very fast, stacking debuff on the tank that increases damage taken by a significant amount
On the Blight of Galakrond encounter, do both dragons need to be tanked? Wasn't really sure if one just randomly casts (Dazhak) and the tank controls Loszkeleth.
Loszkeleth is the only one who really needs to be tanked. Dazhak isn't affected by aggro tables. As a prot warrior, I've had the best luck with going to Loszkeleth immediately and securing aggro, and then whenever possible tanking them near Dazhak for cleave damage.
Can you make a video on how you set up Plater? Does it automatically come with it the color coded bars for specific interrupts or is this something you customized yourself? Thank you!!
This relates specifically to your Plater, I didn’t see in that video is there any way to mass remove mobs from the list? I basically want a blank slate but to keep all of your other formatting options
Can the corrosive debuff on the 3rd boss be dropped through feign death, vanish, or similar abilities? It could when it was a mega dungeon. Haven't seen it done in S3
The second boss is a giant clock ⏰ we found out that if tank goes Clockwise and the other group goes Anticlockwise everyone can catch up the best spot to avoid balls and place manifested timeways. Try it out !!
My group has had the best luck with everyone going clockwise. I tank in one dark wedge, and everyone else is in the opposite wedge (except when dropping rings), that way nobody gets caught in the cone. More details for anyone interested: The boss hitbox is HUGE, so I spend the majority of the fight strafing left along the ring on the ground (yes, you can melee from all the way back there). Due to the balls going different speeds in the light vs dark, a gap will form that you can get through. Half the time it actually is on the ring I'm running around, but even if it's not, there's plenty of time to see where it will be and get to it, since I'm so far back. We do have a healer that prefers going anti-clockwise, so do whatever works for you. Just be cognizant that if you are going in the opposite direction of the tank, beware of the frontal cone. A good tank will try and keep it off you, but there's only so much they can do since a frontal going off in the light is practically a guaranteed wipe.
Whats the finishing criteria for Iridikron? Do we need to drop his health below a certain percentage for him to channel obliteration? Then we must reach certain damage level before his channelling finishes?
@@SoluxyaHow bad is the dps check there ? Would you actually keep offensive cooldowns for this phase or just having 5 people alive hitting the boss be good enough even in tyrannical ?
@@mawouel9606 From what I saw (only in mega dungeon, not mythics), it's a hard dps check that a lot of people struggled with. My main group is actually only four people, and since we're down a dps we never were able to beat him, despite being able to do up to that point consistently deathless. Obviously with mythic plus tuning and having three DPS, I don't think it will be a showstopper, but it'll probably be something you want to prep for.
This dungeon has a few changes on live, second boss doesnt do anymore the tank mechanic, and last boss just spawns 2 adds instead of 5. Is it right or maybe a bug?
Stuns and other CC do work for gray cast bars (assuming the mob can be stunned/etc. - most bosses and some trash have immunity, so for them there's nothing you can do for gray bars).
On the Trash before Boss 3 (Blight of Galakrond); I always pull double dragon on both sets [440 Prot Pally]...Divine Toll is amazing for these pulls. :D This is in the Pre-M+ config of the dungeon; which I believe is tuned to be equal to a Season 2 +15 or 16. Not sure how this will translate to Season 3 with the higher Item Levels, but I'd imagine that once you reach 480-ish it should be very doable again.

This is the guide I was looking for! Thank you for going into intricate details and explaining everything. Helps with my knowledge for my tank anxiety
Glad you like it Gareth (: good luck in the dungeon!
The most underrated M+ guide.

what about prot warrior :'(, 7 sec inteurpt, storm bolt, shockwave, intim shout, and warstopmp (if tauren)
The melee dmg buff that the dragons before Galakrond receive from exploding blobs is currently an enrage that can be soothed.
very good details as usual thank you!

Didn't they remove the tank frontal from the 2nd boss?

It's 90% HP for the transition to last phase, then you need to dps inside bubble to drain his energy to zero.

So, the tank frontal on the second boss doesn't seem to be a thing

Does the gray cast bar mean it cannot be stopped at all, or that it cannot be kicked, but can be stunned, feared, etc
