Water utility in Odesa region invests in solar energy to protect community and reduce costs

A solar power plant was installed at the wastewater treatment plant in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. Together with the batteries, it helps the water utility to operate more stably during power outages: residents continue to receive water supply and sewerage services.
The solar power plant also saves the community's expenses on electricity: at the 2024 tariff, they will save about eight hundred thousand hryvnias a year.
