In the period when Bosnia was part of Yugoslavia as one of its six republics, there were no Turkish families in Bosnia, only after the war in Bosnia did some Turks come with their families to create a job for themselves. Otherwise, Bosniaks did not mix with the Turks during the Ottoman rule, nor were they forced by the Turks. Bosniaks remained pure and always spoke Bosnian. Educated Bosniaks knew Turkish, Arabic and Persian during the Turkish rule.

Why its so hard for you Turks to admit that a lot of you have foreign origin, predominatly Balkan?
1) it's not hard for nobody.
2) We know there is a lot of foreign origin turkified race lives here, like kurds, armenians, greeks, arabs georgians, balkans.. Because of ottoman empire. But all of them have a Turkish ID. They mostly call themselves as a "turkish". The finding a pure turk is so hard in turkey.
3) and nobody count that races as a "foreign". They are not foreign races for us.
TURCO smart man knows his history. During Ottoman Empire , over 500 years it was ruled over ex Yugoslavia land. For families to survive they were forced to change religion and become muslim. That is how how we have Muslim Bosnians. Most of them were orthodox back in the day.
