Hi girls, you could put down cane mulch around the back section to smother the weeds. Also around in your pots and in between your plants you just planted, it saves on watering and keeps soil moist longer
We need to buy more mulch. We use tea tree mulch
Love Bagpipes ❤ glad your jackets are Warm 😊
We love those jackets so much
I loved the 'sotchies' being there for you!
Thank you
I love your vlogs 🥹💕
Ps. I reckon you should try planting lemon grass along that barren strip of dirt. Or, you could take out the soil, fill it with concrete, and then top it with some nice wood; to make a small outdoor "bench" thing for potted plants or planter box thingies.
I love the concrete idea
You are lovely! Thanks for bringing us into your world. I’m off to watch Firefly.
Thank you so much
We made your vlog!!!!! We are so excited to be headed that way.
You did
Happy Mother's Day to both you mums.....I think you have kids ( not sure) but I know you have cats so you are mothers to fur babies.
We only have our fur babies
Bougainvilleas will look lovely there
We like it in that spot
Hi, Try Murraya Paniculata Min Min (Mock Orange). Min Min is the dwarf form only growing to a metre high and easily pruned to a hedge or shaped. Fill in open areas with some Sugar Cane Mulch to prevent weeds, conserve water and improve soil, also great for the rest of the garden and around the herbs with the bonus of looks good. Garden looks great!
We will be mulching. We usually use tea tree mulch. We just need to order some
I’m proud of you Dan I thought you would be on the couch all weekend playing Zelda 🤣🤣🤣
Oh I was. Haven’t stopped
Hi. I enjoyed going gardening with you. In regards that narrow garden fronting the blue wall I would clear it of everything, top with decorative gravel and stand three tall pots there. Coloured leaf cordylines would look lovely in the pots with the blue wall behind them.
I love this idea
Coriander is a cold, mountain climate herb. It only lasts a season as it is an annual!
Yes, though coriander does well in winter in Aus, so no good when it’s warm because it goes to seed. So a good winter annual. Sage goes well, can get about 60 cm high & likes full sun. Lasts a few years before it gets woody. Also prostrate ( creeping) Rosemary would be good in that spot too, Perennial, & not as big & unwieldy as normal Rosemary.
Phhhh it’s going really well right now
You might find that the basil self seeds.
Ohhhh
If all else fails in a hot sunny position go for succulents and you can put pebbles or mulch down to stop weeds. I’m not opposed to a little Zero on stubborn weeds that refuse to yield.
Thanks for the info
you can get wire covers for the fish pond
The birds aren’t interested in the fish.
Those jackets are awesome! How long do you stay in for the swim?
We don’t do long 2-5 mins
succulents' are always a safe not much care option
Thank you
Always so nice to see you & the kitties. Are you both changing your hair?
Not deliberately but yes it seems so
Firefly Lane - my (adult) daughter thought it was a bit distressing, so I've avoided watched it. You recommend?
Yeah we really liked it. The second season has a sad storyline
5 hours!?!
Yes and it didn’t end until happening as our internet died
