Appreciate the video. Honestly, it showed how much weaker they are now more than anything (which I don't think was the intention), as the difficulty you had securing more than the 1x one-shot in 4 or 5 attempts says it all about these. Very unreliable 1-shot capability, seemingly regardless of column 2 perk selected. Not necessarily a problem as a little less ease of use is probably warranted. But when you think you have a kill guaranteed because you know your placement was good enough, you may instinctively try to conserve the ammo and start looking for the next kill...only for you to not get the kill and miss the kill opportunity or worse (trade or just plain get killed).
In any event, this certainly explains the sudden rise in LMG popularity. I'll keep the Impluse Amplifier rolls I just farmed in Trials, but will focus on PvE uses, where it feels a bit more reliable right now.

i haven't stopped using my cataphract since the change but i had the option of high explosive ordinance or prox nade so i switched to HEO. it jacks up the blast radius so i use that with a blast radius adapt mod and i 1 shot people very consistently while hitting the floor next to them

@@max73916 rockets feel so clunky to me. i switched to them initially and they felt slow. i used to use reed's regret but ive never tried an aggressive before. does it feel good?
I can’t remember were this info came from but you need 70 blast radius and literally don’t ever use proximity nades. Spike nades are dumb cause you one shot no matter what. Use high velocity rounds to stead and it literally feel like pre nerf.

100-30-100 or 70-70-100 aren't hard to get and they are meta.
4s of your dodge for resil checks isn't bad.
I just got 90/30/90/70/90 on solar hunter, the time between dodge cooldown, recover, and super are all by 2-4 seconds or milliseconds so it’s negligible to me

I don’t really care for cataphract, I have an impulse amplifier, chain reaction spike nade memory interdict with ~2k kills on it. A god roll cataphract would be marginally better I’m sure,but I’d rather just see the number go up.

Actually it is very close for PvE 😊. Only roll cataphract doesn't have is cascade in left and bait in right. Most people are going to want envious and bait for dungeons/raids and not use cascade as much. This means they are the exact same..
You're right, in PVE it isn't even close. Cataphract has higher base stats in every single category and adept masterwork stats on top of that.

Cataphract is practically the same thing but with adept big ones. It’s better tbh.
Ever since they said you can’t combo switch perks cataphract remains on top.
Edge transit is arguably better as it rolls with full court which is a free damage buff and becomes more interesting when you get sticky nades with it as well. I'll let you figure out the rest, but yes it will 1 tap.

Got a 7/7 shiny edge transit that just replaced my 5/5 cataphract cause it had proximity and no spikes 😢
