Oakley knows they got ya once you try them. You can find them on sale for 100 bucks. They do fog if you’re not moving. But they clear extremely fast once you’re moving. Once you run those airbrakes it’s real difficult to be convinced to run any other frame. Don’t even get me started on how good their lenses are comparatively with everyone else. Clarity is king when your haulin ass. You need the HD vision. At this point I’m almost unsure why any other brand even bothers trying to compete.
My fall, winter & spring choice: Scott Prospect 2.0 Sand Dust goggle, double works lens light sensitive & WFS50 roll-off kit. It was a bit of an investment, but it's perfect for dirty and sandy conditions in high humidity and with the photochromic lens I never need to change and fiddle with the roll-off.
For me it comes down to the Fox Vue, 100% Armega, and the Oakley Airbrake. All three are amazing. Super comfortable, great lens-changing systems, and so many cool colorways. The armegas are the first premium goggles I’ve ever used and I was blown away by them, mainly because of the outriggers. This might be because I have the formula S helmet from Fly racing but I felt like the airbrake and the Armega had the best fit for that specific helmet. The Armega just interlocked with the face plate so perfectly and the airbrake, like Chase said, slid on like an already-broken-in shoe. I’ve never had an issue with sweat in either goggle, but I’ve only just recently started using air brakes so don’t take my word on that. I personally think they are the three best options out there. I may be slightly biased but the Airbrake might be my personal favorite for the style, the signature series like Sexton, Tomac, and Herlings, and the fit. But nonetheless, all three of them are amazing goggles.
Thanks for the love Chase! RMATV is the best. We do have 45mm roll offs for the Helios goggles. Also laminated and standard tear offs. Dont forget about the pre pinched nose piece! Great for riders who have experienced a pinched nose with other goggles. WREAK HAVOC
@@barkeep25 The foam around your nose on the Helios goggles are "pre pinched". This helps alleviate any pressure on your nose from the goggles. Say goodbye to not being able to breathe!
@@excuter90interesting, I’ve slammed my face into a rock garden and they dented the lens and scratched but I would have been smoked in anything else in my opinion. I only got one good eye so this is very important
100 % Armega for me however, replacement clear shield was hard to obtain and my white web ordered rear strap came like girl glitzy white, it makes me chuckle. The clear pin-loc visor has more of a tunnel vision but should be great when real cold.
thank you chase. It would be great to see a part two of this with info/comparison on the rolloff systems and tear offs. I run the airbrakes. tried the armega and leatts. The leatt pushes down on the nose.
I’m very loyal so it’s 100% Armega. If anyone ever wants any great protective eyewear more like sunglasses try the new Magpul RIDER eyewear. Meant for helmets with different lenses but Magpul are famous for making the toughest accessories for certain firearms.
The Alpinestars Goggles are the same goggle as the EKS Brand Lucid and Factory Ride and l think one other . X brand makes all of those others l mentioned.
If you don't mind looking a little dorky, just some simple breathe rite strips fixed the nose pinching problem that every goggle I've ever worn gives me. My shnoz ain't even that big.
awesome! so i’ve been using the möbius braces, however i have no reference to any other brands. from what you’ve mentioned, we’re the same build/height, so im really curious about the lengths of some of the new offerings - the evs web eclipse/ new pod’s, in comparison to the asterisks that you’ve mentioned you use regularly. thanks so much!

I have been wearing 100 percent for a few years, but I just recently got sponsored by Scott few months ago and I’m loving the goggles so far

Wait what's that pinched nose part?? I get that on every goggle. Why I wear nose strips alot of the time.

How about the Klim Edge?
Oakley are the only ones that are 100 percent optically correct. Once you try them you’ll never use another brand.
I almost lost my eye from airbrake due of not being so protective….

for me the airbrakes, i've tried several top-tier goggles including the armegas but nothing can beat prizm moto or prizm mtb lens
I do honestly hate Scott’s lens changing system. Don’t need that frustration in my life! I’m going to check out one of those other brands.

Never buy EXS brand googles. That guy sued and got LACR closed down
And the EKS brand googles?
We don't currently carry the EKS goggles. These are just the goggles we carry in stock.
What about the armatic?
Armatics aren’t the 100% flagship model, the Armegas are.

Best for ppl with glasses?
The Leatt Velocity 6.5 is designed to fit over glasses. You can check them out using the link in the description.
now do this for knee braces!
