You need this DJI RS2 RING GRIP!!! - Digitalfoto Review

Recently I was able to get my hands on the RS2 Ring Grip Pro combo from Digitalfoto. I had been looking and researching for a ring grip to use with my rs2. I was looking for alternate versions of the Tilta Advanced Ring Grip when I came across this one. Looking at the price point vs build quality, I chose to go with this version since it’s less than HALF the price of the Advanced Ring grip. The Reviews online seemed good, and when I opened the box and started putting it together I have to say they were absolutely right. This thing is super sturdy, and the Pro Combo comes with all the attachments & cables you would need to power the RS2, it even comes with the nato rail attachment to add the tilta control handle for pulling focus or starting&stopping recording (if you have the receiver module). The clamp I put my monitor on is by small rig and doesn’t come included in the combo, and I did buy an extra V-mount battery clamp just in case I want to mount 2 small V mount batteries to power the Red Komodo. Another thing I love about this ring is the rs2 base plate has D-tap port which allows me to power my nucleus M follow focus. With this additional D-tap port, theoretically, you could power the Komodo, RS2, AND Nucleus M ALL off of just one V-mount battery. I’ve found this RS2 ring grip setup to make shooting so much easier on set. It allows me to be more run-and-gun to capture smooth shots, without the need for a 1st or 2nd AC to help pull focus. Not to mention, it is MUCH more comfortable to be distributing the weight evenly across two arms and not just 1 single handle. I’ve been using it for the past month with my C70 and Red Komodo, filming cars, commercials, and real estate videos. I highly recommend this ring grip combo to anyone in the market for an ergonomic solution using the RS2.
