In the old minecraft versions oak slabs had the same code as stone slabs. They could only be dropped with a pickaxe and couldn’t be burned by fire. These slabs were used until 1.3.1, were they replaced with newer oak slabs that had code for wood. The old oak slabs are still in the game in the creative menu, being renamed to petrified oak slabs edit: damn so many likes

Have to admit, the scariest part was the spider in the cave. Actually made me jump. But dang the nostalgia hit hard, I kept screaming every time he trampled the crops. Yeah, back then even animals walking on them trampled them. It sucked!
I did giggle at the skin used for the 'mob'.. XD The final 'scare' was more hilarious than much else for me (Which I think was intentional).

Once upon a time, in the vast and pixelated world of Minecraft, there was a legend whispered among players. It spoke of a hidden village, far off the beaten path, where darkness and despair reigned supreme. It was known as "The Forgotten Village."
According to the legend, the village was cursed, haunted by unknown entities that lurked within its crumbling buildings. The villagers who once thrived there had vanished without a trace, leaving behind only remnants of their existence.
Curiosity got the best of a brave Minecraft player named Alex. Determined to uncover the truth behind the legend, Alex embarked on a perilous journey through treacherous terrain, traversing dense forests and scaling towering mountains.
As Alex ventured deeper into the unknown, the atmosphere grew heavy and foreboding. The once vibrant landscapes turned desolate and lifeless. Strange whispers echoed through the air, sending chills down Alex's spine.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Alex stumbled upon the entrance to The Forgotten Village. The sight was macabre-a ghostly mist enveloped the dilapidated structures, and the sound of distant cries filled the air. Undeterred, Alex stepped forward, eager to unravel the mystery.
Inside the village, Alex discovered eerie signs of a tragic past. Broken windows, abandoned farms, and overgrown vegetation painted a picture of neglect and despair. A sense of unease hung in the air, as if the very essence of the village had been tainted by an ancient evil.
As Alex delved further into the village, strange occurrences became more frequent. Tools levitated in mid-air, doors slammed shut with unseen force, and whispers grew louder, their words indecipherable yet filled with malice.
With each step, Alex's sanity began to fray. Shadows danced at the edge of vision, and distorted faces seemed to peer through broken windows. The line between reality and the game world blurred, leaving Alex questioning what was real and what was an illusion.

To this day, Alex wonders if it was all just a vivid nightmare or a glimpse into a darker side of Minecraft- a reminder that not everything in this blocky world is as innocuous as it seems.

Well this kinda happend in my old survival (after aquatic update) where suddenly a wreck ship appear in my sea base
Edit (or add-on) ; I remember my first time play nether update (I forgot the seed, but I remember it was one of duplicate cave seed in antvenom videos). Interestingly when I first come to nether (there was destroyed nether portal not far from spawn). The nether was empty from any light source except for lava , even no glowstone or any crimson or warped trees (so it almost maximum darkness). When I copy my world and go to nether, the trees and glowstone are back spawning
One time that happened with ores, but I’m pretty sure that I just missed them

I’m going to play the seed every day 1.0.0. the biome keeps changing to a desert biome but then it changes to the original biome. I keep hearing my door open and close even though Multiplayer is off. I just been playing the seed five minutes ago when I made the comment. I will leave an update very soon. Please try the seed for yourself!

I challenge you poster. Try that seed on todays version. OMG does it have some gorgeous features. 4 Sunken Monuments just a short distance, starts on one of 2 islands. Has a sheer cliff a short distance away that reaches from ocean to almost clouds. Large caves all over and at least 2 snow capped mountain ranges with 1 confirmed ancient city.

The reason why the pickaxe breaks 1.0 wooden slab faster than an axe is because 1.0 wooden slabs are technically retextured stone slabs. They're still in the game (I'm pretty sure) and they're called 'Petrified Wooden Slab' s.
