This is how I kind of interpret the video. Its obviously not gonna be right it’s just how I see it. The main character appears to want to die, but maybe he’s too scared to do it himself. Instead he draws himself closer to death with alcohol and cigarettes. By closer to death I mean the physical form that seems to appear throughout the video. (The hooded guy) I think the creepy “come along with us part” is his personal brush with death. I think at that part he also realizes maybe he doesn’t want to die as much as he thought, he seems more timid and calm throughout the rest of the video. The lyrics also mention faith and religion a lot. So I think at that point in his life he feels either disconnected from his religion. Or he thinks it’s a crapshoot. Either way he thinks that if god is real, he’s just there to put him through hell and make him depressed. I’m not sure what the cute Lil monster thing is, but he seems to be a physical form of maybe the main characters depression? He always seems there at bad times, during parties and stuff. So yeah that’s what I think lol. Great cover!
