Severely doubt that. The next Arc wouldnt work as movies and the "sundown countdown arc" as you put it is a single fight that lasts one volume that also doesn't work as a standalone story. The remaining series will be a 2 core arc@@NeverKilledHillock
@@Cirac1 It's already confirmed that the "Infinity Castle" will be 3 movies, and if you know what happens there it makes sense. I guess "Sunrise Countdown Arc" will be a normal season again. Don't forget the backstory in there.

Those kids and his wife went there, not only of their own free will, but they were the ones who asked for it, the master's plan was to be there alone and they argued what @penguin50279 said but actually they just wanted to die at his side because Muzan would have been there anyways, he knew it was a trap all along and still went to kill the master with his own hands.
Fun fact: Amane Ubuyashiki (27yrs old) was 17 when she married Kagaya who was 13. Kagaya said that if she didnt want to marry him, he would refuse the arrangement, it was this statement which showed consideration for her that made her decide to marry him.

Looking back on it Ubuyashiki was trying to extend the conversation with Muzan every second possible because he knew every second would matter til sunrise in the final fight.

Regarding the master and his family, I think Muzan would have been too suspicious if he saw the house empty. Muzan would have been like: "So here's the Master, who can't see, walk or move on his own and the house is suspiciously empty. Hmmmm, my Muzan sensors are tingling and tell me this is a trap... Better send Akaza just in case..."
So if the Master wanted to catch Muzan he would need to make him believe that it was relatively safe. Muzan even said that he expected a trap already, if the house only had the Master in it I don't think he would have walked inside. So the Master used his cards to try to kill Muzan. I mean, his family has been fighting him for like 400+ years so a little extra sacrifice would be fine if they actually managed to kill him. I assume that was in his mind when he made the trap.
Sadly, Kagaya needed to do that. Element of surprise alive. 😭
Also his daughters and wife insisted, they wanted to die by his side.

Nah even if all the Demon Slayers fought Muzan together they won't be able to defeat him... so he wldnt send Akaza or anyone else there .... the only thing that changed everything was the medicine ... ull see its role in the movies

Having the kids there too probably sold it more to Muzan tbh. I think it showed how well he hid his hatred for Muzan. Which Muzan was surprised by. Muzan, of all people is surprised that Ubuyashiki went to such lengths and was capable of that. Yeah it's pretty sad but I like that about how that transpired. sometimes it's not just pure good vs pure evil. He also probably thought they were going to die regardless. He does have that uncanny intuition they mentioned.

I really have a hard time understanding how some people thought Muzan would just die here and they’d just have the remaining upper rank demons die because of Muzan’s death. 12 episodes for the next season as you said would mean cutting the remaining content in half. It will be 3 movies. The hashira training arc is a ridiculously small portion of the manga.

So did Muzan. He said he expected a trap, only not a kamikaze one like that. Oh, and he couldn't expect Tamayo to have joined AND the drug ready. That part really surprised him.
it's cool how the master said "you've stepped on the tigers tail and incurred the dragons wrath" cause two of Rengoku's moves are both a Tiger and a Dragon, and his breathing is the closest deviation to the original breath users style.

That is true, but also they were all aware of the risk and chose to stay bc they wanted to die by his side.

The reason why the master killed his daughers is because in reality he has 5 children (only 1 male) but he always showed the 2 older daughers in public, everydody including Muzan, though he had only 2 daughers , So he wanted Muzan to belive his entire family was killed, In order fo his oldest Son to run the demon Slayer corps undercover (for some reason the leader of his family most be a male), his oldest daughers knew they need it to sacrifice themselfs for the sake of their decendents, thats why they played ball in from of Muzan in order to emphasized they were there... But the oldest son and the 2 youngest daughers still alive. SORRY FOR THE SPOILER BUT YOU ASKED WHY, AND THATS WHY.

He never needed to sleep, just his own attitude, fear and doubts holding him back and when he passed out because of fear, his finely trained body would work on autopilot to kill demons.
Now, he received a letter that dispersed those doubts and fears, he's LOCKED IN.
Sleeping was just a def mechanism for his low self confidence but the raw power was always his.

Probably because of the timing, it occurs right after he gets pissed and about to kill them.
This is a shadow war between humans and demons that's been happening for over a thousand years. Ubuyashiki's entire family was solely dedicated to killing Muzan from the day they learned of that curse. While unfortunate, some sacrifices were necessary for the plan to be carried out.
Gyomei : One hit Muzan's head when no one managed to easily cut a Upper Moon Head before / Stop Muzan's attack by himself.

Look bro, just like with Sukuna, you gotta stop acting like these mass murderers have ANY kind of moral compass or soft-spot just because they have personalities other than "I wanna rule the world!". Muzan wouldn't have spared anybody, the only reason he let Ubuyashiki rambled on because he was weirded out by the jovial and non-chanlant attitude his greatest enemy and his family were displaying in front of his face. Even then, his wife and daughters have been taking care of him up until this point. If all of the Hashiras would die for him then why would you think his own wife and kids would leave their dying family member alone with a ruthless demon?

The wife and 1 daughter are extremely loyal and wanted to be there because they didnt want to leave his side the other daughter is kinda just "normal" and had no special talent and was also wanting to be there.
He has 3 other children, because they were quintuplets.
That gave me the chills, man, seeing them both playing ball. They knew they were about to die and still performed their act like champs
If his wife and kids is not there it won't look natural/normal, Muzan would probably take a hint that his cooking something in that scale to relocate his family. It's sad that his wife and kids died but them being there what makes this situation possible, Muzan walking in, They manage to immobilize him and manage to made Tamayo get near him to inject the drug. Without the drug heavily weakening Muzan later on they would be killed instantly by Muzan it wouldn't matter if they manage to kill all the uppermoons. Plus Kagaya's wife and 2 kids probably was on it with the plan, I mean a chance to lift up the curse for the other 3 kids and be able to live past 30 that's what their bloodline been looking for centuries.
If Muzen just sees master only, he will be forced to alert the mansion, but the master's wife and kids are here, making Muzen think this place is safe. Because normal people won't sacrifice their children, and that can surprise Muzen.
The big point is, do the wife and the kids volunteer? if not, I don't think they can be that "happy" and "calm".
I got a theory that the balls Kagaya Ubuyashiki kids were playing with was the explosions the whole time🤯
If you watch closely one of his kids drop the ball and looked at Muzan having a conversation with their father Kagaya Ubuyashiki
I think that was the sign Kagaya Ubuyashiki Daughter was waiting for in order for her to destroy the ball they were playing with to make it explode to injure Muzan
Even if the Master ordered his family to go away, he could not physically force them, he's too sick and weak. Also, don't try to understand the morality of an era where 14 yr old prostitutes were seen as normal (as was child marriages) another interesting fact is the belief regarding life and death for the Japanese was completely different than the rest of the world.
The Ubuyashiki family has lived only to defeat Muzan. Of course they all knew and agree to it... and for a reason... Muzan expected a trap... but seing hoe his wife anf daughterr were playing there... he never suspected he was gonna sacrifice them aswell so he let his guard down and it succeded masterfully yes thwy have to kill him with sunlight but he already absorbed Tamayo's "poison" so Muzan is already on a do or die situation... as he cannot do anything to stop it...
This is the first and only episode of the season who we don't have funny cartoon faces : that show how bad the situation is 😬

The reason Kagaya's wife and kids were there was most likely a way to catch Muzan off guard, because he wouldn't expect him to kill his family along with himself.
the moment muzan saw the kids he felt relaxed and lowered his guard that's why he didn't expect such a trap. and his family would have wanted to go down with him.

They just explained that the daughters exploded. There is nothing to hope for. Ubuyashiki, his wife and his two daughters all blew up together in an attempt to destroy Muzan. He does have more than 2 kids though. Just 2 of them are gone now. Of course there's no bodies, they literally nuked the place.
Infinity Castle Arc is the biggest arc in the series.

Not the whole family, there is still at least a dark haired child who we saw during the Final Selection as well as when Tanjiro met Ubuyashiki for the first time, and as other viewers have said, the wife and daughters present knew what was going to happen and refused to leave him to die alone. If Muzan thought there were still other members of the family, he would have still hunted them down and given them the painful death he intended for Ubuyashiki. Further, the fact that there were children there led Muzan to think it was more safe to enter, and that all the Ubuyashiki line was now slain.
Did you miss the final Taisho Era Secret? It would have been right after that scene and is worth watching.
Someone else said it. The Master has to make it look less suspicious. If it was just him, Muzan would have expected something. I'm pretty sure the family knew. The wife definitely knew. The two daughters always had a bit of a creep atmosphere about them. They kind of reminded me of the shinning lol.
Some people in this world got Ubuyashiki talent. The forsight or vision. They can't explain it logically. It is a real talent/power/abilities/6th senses. I consider it a blessing from The Almighty God.

Imagine hating someone to the point sacrificing love ones it's viable just for your enemy to lower his guard and be able to strike. Muzan more than hurt it was "rattle", bc never crossed his mind that someone could hate him to that point to be willing to do such a thing. As explained by others he gave his wife the chance as sure as he gave his kids the chance too. They all loved him so much they refused to leave him. Especially his wife it’s till death do us part and you can see her devotion to him she’s not concerned with anything else.
I get how it seems like this is the final episode - but there is MUCH more to go trust me. The upcoming arc is the ABSOLUTE best in the series which I can finally say now that we’re here. We have a wild ride ahead - like seriously WILD. Get ready and strap in once it’s back. I’d estimate at least another season - or maybe a movie or two to finish up the final chunk of the manga so kinda hype that it’s still ongoing! It’s easily become one of the top shows out there during it’s airing.
That's the point, Ubuyashiki is NOT ALL Goody guy that Muzan expected that's why he fell for his trap, He didn't expect bro would be crazy enough sacrifice his wife and children (even if they agreed) with him😂
If his family were not with him, the demon would not have fallen into the trap, it would have been suspicious that he was alone.
He knew Muzan would more than likely torture them or turn them into demons to anger him when he dies. But another reason was Muzan if he knows his family is gone he would have thought of an even bigger trap was waiting for him and maybe not even show up or send another demon
Some explanation here:
Muzan was suspicious about a trap and wondered why there were no guards. At that moment, he saw his girls playing with a ball, which distracted him from thinking more deeply about the guards. This was why he never expected the move and couldn’t escape in time. His wife and daughters knew about the plan and understood they had to be sacrificed with him for the future of humanity. They couldn’t let him die alone anyway.
The domain power isn’t Muzan’s; it’s Biwa lady’s domain. This is why Muzan kept her close. You can tell because every time someone teleports to the domain, you hear the Biwa sound.
She was collecting every demon slayer’s location in previous episodes. In this season’s episode 1, we saw Muzan collecting all demons in her domain. He planned to kill all the demon slayers there with all the demons.
We're about to get the finale of the series. Different battles between Hashira's and the Upper Moon's as well as the final battle with Muzan. The final stretch has arrived. From here on out... it's going to be a lot to take in. Strap yourself in... the road ahead is very very brutal.
To think Kagaya would just blow up his wife and children. Obviously the wife and kids knew its not even a question
