When playing Sniper Elite or lower difficulty, there is often a 'slice' of the reload circle animation (the one that appears in the centre of your screen as you reload) that is bigger than the rest. Fire or reload again when the marker that is rotating around the circle is within that 'slice' and you'll finish the reload faster. That's the Active Reload feature. Not useful if you only play on Authentic, but it is very useful when invading other players on lower difficulties or in multiplayer matches, if that's your thing. I've been encouraging a few No Cross players to use it recently.
