fitting is soooooo important, and you have to feel comfortable with the club in your hands for it to go well! still the smoothest swing that i watch on youtube!
@@agolferswalk ping g400 currently, although it is probably due for a refresh later this year. i'll be getting fir for it when the time comes for sure!
Pamela B thanks 🙏. Experience and expertise is always the difference and if you are going to make an investment like this you better work with excellence
A Golfers Walk I have the regular epic not the flash. I chose it after trying all the new drivers that year at the PGA show. It’s the one that stood out as the most straight and I had gained 20 yards off the driver I previously gamed.
Many thanks for sharing your Driver Fitting and demonstrating the difference between a fitting and getting the Driver optimised for you & your swing. Having had the pleasure of being fitted by Ian @TXG I know first hand how important the little details are in getting "optimised" My current & last driver I will ever game is; PXG GEN2 0811 XF, 9deg, PX Evenflow 55gram 5.5 45" (at my age I no longer hit bombs so I must be in the fairway)
Bandit Baker wow 😳. I have wanted to go to Ian but he has been 4-5 months out. Plus, with bug that is going around, international travel is out. The beauty of working with someone like Ian is, you eliminate the clubs being the problem 💯
@@agolferswalk Luckily I had my fitting with Ian two years ago, (long before the World got into such a mess). As I am in the UK my wife & I arranged a holiday in Toronto, so I could have a full bag fitting over two days and my wife could visit some of her friends in Canada. It was a great experience and yes if anything now goes wrong I know that it's down to the idiot holding the damn club lol
Man. Some folks tell me to get fitted and I really want to, but I can’t swing the dang club the same twice in a row! I’m afraid the fitter will tell me to get lost or to quit golf. I enjoyed the video!
Greg Kortman Golf 😂😂 Well the swing issue could be a poor fitting club. I don’t think getting you to swing more to right field would be too hard. Once you can do that, your swing would be consistent enough.
Man Bro. I cant wait to get fitted for my new driver on Tuesday! I'm going with the G400 Ping. I'll try the Taylormade SIM....they wanted $549.00 for that bad boy.
Would love to do a club fitting cause then I would learn my exact distances on the clubs!! Hope you get a driver that helps you out!! Driver has normally been one of the clubs I have never had any problems with hitting luckily!! What shot shape are you playing looks like you are setup for a draw? My driver that I bought last year is shorter and it has help me hit it much straighter!!
@@agolferswalk if you can get a controlled fade to work that would be great!! Hope it all works out for ya!! I just got my 60° wedge today. Can't wait to take it out on the course next week!!
@@agolferswalk Thanks for the tip. I usual have the routine putts, chipping, pitching, bucket of balls then I play. So I will definitely give myself some chances hitting it!! Do you think it was a good decision to get this club? I only really have a PW (48°) and a SW(56°). These clubs have become popular in the time where I wasn't playing as often.
I don't know why there are making drivers longer and longer, most people can't handle 44.5 as it is. Giving them 45.75 is crazy. I think they do it to win the driver distance wars. I want to hit fairway not deep in the woods.
@@agolferswalk The middle goes further. Go 2 inches down the shaft of your 5 iron to hit a punch and the ball flies full distance because you used the sweet spot. Why do we let out shaft?
How much does the tech change from year to year in equipment. They come out with a new driver every 6 to 8 months. I don't get it? Ping G400 regular flex
Generally not a lot unless there is a big form factor change. The Taylormade SIM driver was very different from years past. For a player like you, I would get fit properly and then keep it for 2-5 years depending on possible changes in the marketplace. Getting fit properly is not easy as there are few people that can do it.
Let me know what driver you use and have you tried the new Taylormade SIM🤔🤔
I have a Taylormade burner 860 with a 9.5°
I just ordered the king cobra f9
zac golfs I actually used their first “metal” woods in the late 80s and it was called the “Burner”. Loved that driver.
Tye Boone Golf nice. When will it come in? In time for your qualifier?
A Golfers Walk yeah it should be here tomorrow or Tuesday

Best swing on youtube
Awesome fitting Fredrick! Sounds like all the tweaks to the new driver will pay off! Looking forward to seeing the new driver on the course!
Chili Dippa Golf it already has paid off and is making playing so much more fun.
@@agolferswalk That's good stuff! Should give you an edge when you play Dougie!
This was fun to watch. Amazing the difference a little tweak can make. I also really liked the double screen.
Pamela B thanks 🙏. Experience and expertise is always the difference and if you are going to make an investment like this you better work with excellence
Thanks for sharing the fitting process with us!!!!!
Thanks for checking it out Marcus. What driver do you use?
@@agolferswalk I use the PXG Proto+ with the Hazardous yellow shaft at 44.50 inches with 10.5* defloted to 9.5*
I like the two screens.
Glad to see you are pleased with your new driver.
Omi T thanks. It has been a huge upgrade to my game.
That sound!!! So pure.
I use the Epic
The sound of the final driver was so solid but not tingy
So why did you choose the Epic Flash?
A Golfers Walk I have the regular epic not the flash. I chose it after trying all the new drivers that year at the PGA show. It’s the one that stood out as the most straight and I had gained 20 yards off the driver I previously gamed.
Maverick In Orange
That was the other driver I was considering.
Just got the Taylormade SIM last week. Great driver. Looks and sounds great.
Let us know how it works out for you.

I think once you have the right settings, ideally testing it in the course would be so much helpful
Tough to take a customized club out, but that would be ideal
First we'll learn how to use a driver and then we'll get a fitting haha. Nice video as always mate!
LOL - Thanks guys.

Mine ended up costing $750 - 15%. It’s a lot but I won’t spend money on a club that isn’t right and I have struggled for over a year with my old one.
@@agolferswalk Wjn it back with friendly 50.00 golf bets lol.
That is funny. A Taylormade fitting with Mizuno balls 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Only you would pick up on that. Too bad the balls weren't Taylormade, could have gotten another 20 yards of distance. ;)
@UCc%F0%9F%98%82GXd6TU0Oor6OAHH_oL8ww I'm sure a 90% range ball will go 20 yards futher than a 90% range ball because of the logo.......LOL
US Kids Golf Driver for now
I have seen some bombs with that club.

Zax Drums make sure you hit a few chip shots before you go on the course. It is a very different club.

For sure. I think that most people would hit the ball farther on average if they shortened up their drivers. Strike is much more important.
