@@Alavrado yeah, it's a joke. I think there's a problem also that some players seem to get away with so much more. Embiid, for example, is always taunting. I don't think he should be getting technicals for it, but the inconsistency is so frustrating.

That PG/Gobert play in G6 of the 2018 playoffs was one of the worst no calls I've ever seen. It may have changed the outcome of that series, OKC had homecourt for G7. Even Utah's coach thought he was a foul, look at his reaction.

All it would’ve done is tied the game at best, but knowing Paul George he likely wouldn’t have made all 3 anyways. He didn’t in the clutch of the 2021 WCF game 2, and even if he did Jazz have a chance to win or it’s overtime. Way too much up in the air.

I've been watching basketball since I was 10 years old and i've never seen such bad officiating recently. This is HORRIBLE, the NBA needs to fire some or start fining them.

The first clip in this video the refs actually got this one right. Doesn’t matter if kyrie touches the ball, you can’t go up and down with possession of the basketball. Randle has to let the ball go or shoot it if he jumps up in the air with it.
It wasn’t a travel. Randle was off his feet when kyrie made contact with the ball so he’s allowed to go down

I feel like the first one was a good call, even though the defense touched the ball it never left his hands
I think it should be a jump ball.
Kyrie would have to knock the ball out of Randle's hands or at least try to fight for possession of the ball. Kyrie did none of those things.
Kyrie maybe put a finger on the ball but that's not enough to say Jump Ball or not being a travel.
If Randle let go of the ball while Kyrie somewhat touched it and then somehow got the ball back, then it wouldn't have been a travel.
Instead, Randle still had the ball in his hands because Kyrie didn't have enough force to knock the ball out of Randle's hands. Randle should have just shot it tbh.
So, I agree that the first call is a good call. The rest tho are absolutely horrible calls especially the KD one.

Amazing how many of these refs respond to being (correctly) told "You blew that one" by ejecting the player for being right.
Also, we need a rule that if a ref is guarding a player and knocks the ball away, the team who had the ball takes it side out of bounds. For the Clarkson and Gordon plays.

This video shows that the NBA either has the worst possible referees down to middle school level or that the refs are actively fixing games with phantom fouls and ejections of key players and ignoring the most blatant violations by teams they must have money on.

The first step is called the carry step or 0 step so it doesn’t count as one of the two allowed steps
It wasn't. He used his carry step, bounced. And then picked up the ball, while stepping. Legally he can take 1 step after he gathers which he does then dunks. Looks like it but it isn't.

This is why it's so hard for me to get into sports. I just want to watch two teams play each other fairly. In my opinion, each play in every sport should be reviewed. Mistakes happen but they shouldn't determine whether you win or lose the game.
This is why I can only watch football (not American football but the regular one). I tried getting into basketball, but the refs make it sooo unwatchable for me. It's just so terrible!! They can just decide to give someone a technical because they feel like it and that can completely change the trajectory of the game. How can the refs have so much power!? I just can't be a basketball fan because of these terrible refs.

Giannis was past the defenders shoulder and headed to the basket when he bumped him out of bounds by learning forward into him.

When a player drives to the basket for a layup or dunk and gets blocked, he loses the possession of the ball.
Yeah, but there was an earlier call in which Harden did the same thing, and it went Harden's way. I think that's why so many knick fans were mad
