This game is one of the most memorable Sunday night games imo. One of those nights where the the combination of Al and Chris and a snowy football field on a cold November night just hits different.
@@zack3931 imo this win from Osweiler made that season more special because Broncos wouldn’t have had the 1st seed without it. Then we got Peyton vs Tom in the Playoffs
Emmanuel Sanders was so reliable during all of his years in Denver. Dude literally caught EVERYTHING that was thrown his way. One of the all time most slept on signings in Denver history.
I completely agree. You can even see how the offense changed when Sanders got signed, Manning didn't have somebody he could rely on until Sanders was signed. DT, although I love him, fumbled in the open field and dropped so many key passes. Sanders made that offense effective and reliable, the exact kind of receiver Manning needed.
@@TheBanditBren minus julius thomas or decker, i agree. DT was very reliable, earlier in the year during that 2015 season, he was catching a pass from Manning on the left side of the field and his hand got smashed between two helmets. That’s why he was dropping a lot of passes a lot that season. Dude played hurt all year.
Cj Anderson was so underrated, I really don't think he got enough love. Without him, I don't think denver would of even made it to the super bowl that year.
@@GrassValleyGreg they simply didn't need him they had von and d-ware once barrett got his chance he did well and then barett wanted his money not much the broncos could of done other than pay him better than the bucs
this made me think of the last game vs the chargers. we were looking terrible and then Peyton came in and gave us new life and lead us to a W to seal our playoff fate
Watching CJ finish off the game at the end with another solid run in the powdery snow capped grass is one of my all time favorite Denver Bronco fan moments. Special shouts out to him, sure hands Emanuel an also I know Brock fell off instantly after he left the Broncos but he did exactly what he needed to do that year until Peyton came back, so shout out to him too in that regard. Man what a special unforgettable year, with a lot of lifelong electric moments like this one. Thanks for sharing. 🤙
I was at the first game he played in Denver after this season, for Houston. The entire stadium booed him when he walked out. I was like, did you guys forget what he did for us? Can't ever fault him for wanting to get paid after earning Denver the 1 seed and most likely the SB. He earned that ring.
I Remember EVERY GAME from this year. This game in particular, I got off work at Eegees and came home to watch me Broncos, I had a blunt and some beers and my Manning Jersey on watching this game. Its crazy, like when you're football team does good you actually have a GREAT YEAR. Ever since 2016 like has been going backwards for me. But this year we look good and so does my Future!
It’s crazy you say that because something about this year was special and not just cause my team won the chip but life just felt different and it’s been downhill since. Like you said though cheers to the future !
@@scruffd0g193 I actually wanted him to start after Manning but he got Butt hurt that Manning came back to take them into the Super Bow. So we beat his ass in Houston hahah

As a broncos fan this is one of my favorite games I’ve ever watched ! The excitement of Anderson running into the end zone realizing we beat Tom Brady with our backup quarterback. Brings back great memories!
watched this game live at home from beginning to end and I'm so glad I did. one of the greatest Sunday night games that the whole nation got to witness.
I remember watching this game, what a contest. This made me realize how good Denver's defense was, bc NE only scored one touchdown where they had to drive the entire field. And they ended New England's undefeated season
Man I remember this game. Defense really kept us in the game. CJ was so good in this game and was really good for us during his tenure. Emmanuel was Emmanuel! Brock was really solid, stood tall and showcased his arm strength. I really liked Brock and was so hopeful that he would take over when Peyton retired. Was shocked he chose to leave. Oh...this was our best collection of LBs in several years, before and since.

Patriots were undefeated. My Broncos had some doubt since manning was hurt. But the fans stayed the course and trusted in our defense…. And with good reason. I was sitting in the glass box with all these rich ppl that wasn't even watching the game, I was looking down and see how crazy everybody was and thinking to myself I would have rather been down there instead, a game I will never forget. Bronco country lets ride...

I took my father-in-law to this game: he's a lifelong Broncos fan, but he had never been to a game before... that was probably the coldest I have ever been at a football game, but we loved every minute of it!
I was up about 20 points vs my boy to get into playoffs in fantasy. He had Brady and I had DT. I didn’t get to listen to the game until 4th quarter when DT made a 40 yd catch.
