- Red or white? - This question does no longer matter for wine only. Here, gold nanoparticles are generated via pulsed laser ablation of a bulk gold target in Russian wodka. The strong red colour of the colloid originates from the surface plasmon resonance of the generated nanoparticles within the wodka (or vodka) and ennobles it further, literally.

Hi. Please if you can help me with this information What type of laser should I use and at what parameters should I set it to reproduce this experiment? Thanks in advance
Hello.. can you help me in making such machine. I can pay the consultation charges.
Bottle and sell that to them Hollywood fools.

Where can we buy it and for how much?
Hello, thanks for the video. I have a question. Is it possible to do the same in distilled water?
sure. But better not fully distilled, some residual salinity works better, e.g. 100 micromolar (thats about 3 grains of table salt per liter water) to electrostatically stabilize the gold particles (= increase shelf life).
Is the open-chamber version of this process safety for the environment? I mean is there a chance of these particles to be emitted into the air?
the particles stay in the liquid and do not escape into the air or lab envoronment. Thats an advantage of this method compared to gas phase sythesis of particles.
Cheers! Nice Elixir.
which laser it is boss?
@@NEXT-FOCUS it is a nanosecond pulsed laser, about 10 Watts
Burnt gold water. No relation to Barry Goldwater.
What type and what wattage was this laser??
nanosecond-pulsed, about 10 Watts.
how much is the laser?
costs more than a car, its a scientific laser
