This video is NOT sponsored - I purchased the dock with my own money and Try&Byte didn't know I will make a review until I asked them for some free goodies for my amazing audience 💖

Thank you for the amazing review and great job. I am glad I discovered this video and your format is neat.
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! 😊
Great job. This helped me finalize my purchase. You really explained all the various uses and connections. Thank You.
Great content!
Really like your video style
Thank you! 🙏😊
Stumbled upon your video. Great vid. Sub'ed. The TS4's Power supply is 230W, whilst the Element Hub's is 150W. Identical physical size though. Great observation on the angled cord!
thanks teaching it
I came upon your video by chance. I'd like to say you are very engaging. I wish you well.!! (buying the Elements for my Mac Mini) !!!
Thanks for the great info and very well edited! I think you should add a few seconds of fade to black or something though, the video cut off in the middle of your last word.
Thank you for watching until the end! 🙏💖
Nice details and breakdown...Now with all these ports, do they share bandwidth or are the all independent and each will get the full 10Gbit/s or 40Gbit/s. In other words, If I connect 2 TB4 cables will the ports share and now I am down to 20GBits/s? Thank you...
@KaroCodes
Can one CalDigit TS4 support --- 6k pro display XDR + (x2)LG DualUp?
How does the bandwidth for other stuff affect after connecting to high end displays like above-mentioned? I mean the total accumulated speed can't exceed 40 GBPS.
Nice
I just bought one, do you leave yours on all the time?
Thanks for the review. Do you have experience with the TS3 Plus? I was wondering how they compare in the real world. (They don't sell TS4 here in Canada and importing it is expensive.)
I personally haven't used TS3+ but my friend has it for over a year now, while using basically the same setup/equipment as me. He's happy with it and doesn't feel the need to upgrade. It probably really depends on the amount of equipment you have connected and if any of that is bandwidth sensitive. In my case I want to be sure that my camera/CamLink get the best data transfers possible so that my video looks good 😁
@@KaroCodes Ok great, thanks for the info!
Just FYI, you can connect two 4k monitors running at 60Hz using thunderbolt 3 dock
Oh cool! Just double checked and you're right - CalDigit TS3 (Thunderbolt 3) supports 2x 4K, just not 8k. Not sure about other docks. Thanks for flagging 🙏
