as an Oldham resident I was able to catch this bus on its first day in operation, its truly an amazing bus ideal for services like the 57/425 hopefully first does invest in them. Oh and you are spot on with the lack of investment its been a long time since new buses.
I rode on a Mellor Sigma 10 demonstrator when it was on loan to Newport Bus. it was on their 14 to Allt-Yr-Yn (Ridgeway). its registration plate was MX22 LFY
I wonder how long the battery lasts, and whether the cost of replacement is economical (if the bus is to last 14 years, then at least one replacement will be required).

Great video although I'm not convinced it was First GMs idea I think it was TFGM.
First Bus GM wanted to learn and understand how EV bus operations worked and First bus in general wanted to see if its worth to invest in them.
And more central Lothian buses now have it came this morning
It's definitely a replacement to Streetlight's
dont forget that Wrightbus are building the Kite Electroliners
These are made by a Chinese company as a kit then shipped to the UK. It's an agreement they've got with mellor
👍
I have a question.
What is it?
