Is it possible to make a feature, that enables PLATTER PLAY and CUE POINT triggering at once, making it possible to use PLATTER PLAY with short samples in @Serato? If the PLATTER PLAY buttons could trigger the CUE POINT of one sample selected, before you enter PLATTER PLAY, the RP8000MKII combined with Serato would become very close to a real sampler. Its a bit difficult for me to explain, but basically the suggested feature would have be similar to "16 LEVELS" in "Tune" mode on a AKAI MPC. It can be used for taking a short sample and making an entire line on the pads with that sample at different pitch settings.
Do the reverse toggle/momentary modes work when reverse is controlled externally through MIDI? Also, does the RP8000Mk2 respond to MIDI pitch bend in platter play mode?

No, Platter Play is only possible with the RP-8000 MK2.

Can you use the technology / effects on this unit with vinyl?
Yes, Platter Play controls the speed of the platter and you can use it with regular vinyl.

@@OgDj2024 the Elite got no onboard effects, but if you connect a laptop you can use the Serato effects with your regular vinyl.
