....and he seems to have a special way of connecting with those cultures. Fun to watch him and the people he interacts with, most of the time at least.
This right here is the reason why l visit UA-cam! Gotta love how Sonny respects the locals and the culture. The translator/guide (Enkhbat aka Eba) from ArtGer did an amazing job, matching Sonny's energy and enthusiasm! Well-produced, balanced episode 👌🙏
I absolutely love living vicariously though you boys. I cannot wait for your next foodie adventure…….I’m loving this series and this country so much! Thank you! ❤
Typical hunter/ nomads do this with the animal they eat. They tend to use up the whole animal 😊. This practice can be found in tribes across the globe 😊.
So love your co-hosts and the interaction you have with them. More importantly though the respect and courtesy that you show your hosts and guides is what makes this channel so great for me!
It's so amazing to see how they utilize the animal and create so many different dishes from just that one animal (oil, milk, alcohol, dried meat , fresh meat, dumplings, kabobs ect.
Sonny is so real he enjoys his work no matter what the situation is and he has a real respect for the people and cultures he comes across, never holds his nose nor pretends,
Can't believe Sunny filmed all this in July and its now Sept. Talk about being prepared Also, honestly it's been so long since I heard the word Autumn since everyone calls it Fall here lol. I just thought that was interesting.
This is not just a food review channel....This is a cultural documentary that makes me appreciate our planet and I will support this channel till I'm an old woman. 👍🥰🥰
In a place like the Gobi desert or in the Mongolian steppes, where there aren’t many trees around, dried dung is an excellent source of heat whether it is used for heating the home or cooking. Dried dung is essentially just dried grass, since that’s what these animals are always eating. In northern Mongolia however, dead trees or branches are used far more often since the region overlaps with the Siberian taiga forests.
This actually shocked you and that is a rare treat even as a viewer. That’s an insane life that they live. They shared their best meal of the entire year with him and that Aussie.
That scene of Mongolia city with people in traditional clothes and transportation feels so mysterious, I wish I can travel there I know I will definitely enjoy my stay at there
Excellent intro music selection. Keep it up Sonny! Love that you offer people unfiltered (as much as you can with UA-cam's BS) insights into Asian and Asia minor countries that many don't have the opportunity to see or understand.
As someone that spent many hours watching travel shows on travel channel as a kid, this show is in my opinion, the modern version of that. Im not even sure if travel channel still makes shows like this anymore.
I think thats true for his whole channel. He should brand himself more strongly as an adventure eater which is the goal of his channel already but, some people can get the wrong impression for sure, I agree.
I enjoy all of your videos, but I have to say that this Mongolian series is my absolute favorite so far. I’ve already watched and rewatched them all and can’t wait until you put the entire Series together in the full documentary form. It’s going to be the most rewatched episode in my list of favorites. I wish that I were still a teacher/tutor…these videos would be ideal in teaching children as well as adults about other ppl’s cultures and lives. Much love ✌🏻😊😘
Put a handmade camel yogurts 😂.. it's a real thought, cuz yogurts in our country doesn't have much soft sweet taste and it will have whitening effect. Much more they are really good for the skin. If you have a oily skin I Don't recommend that.
This is a great channel and a well produced show. Sonny is quite a likable guy and very respectful to the different cultures he visits. Nice job on this.
It’s really beautiful to see how religious are Mongolian people. All around the yurts, you can see Tibetan Buddhism religious figures and artifacts. The number one destination in my bucket list
Dear Sonny, you are truly an inspirational figure. The level of respect that you show to every culture and every person you meet is inspirational. I do appreciate the channel and the videos of which I learn a lot. It is great content and a great presentation from you . You have a quality that we call in Arabic " السهل الممتنع". Ask someone to translate this for you and you will know your great quality and your true worth. Thank you very much
Most of Mongolians are lactose intolerant. So you’re okay to eat Mongolian dairy products. In Mongolia we have special bacteria that helps us digest lactose.
I became lactose intolerant 10 years after I came to US from Mongolia 😅🤣....it's been like 6 years I haven't drunk milk or ate yogurt. I can't even drink coffee with half and half.
OMG I BURST OUT LAUGHING at 8:55 at Sonny " Ahh i think no more milk" and at 9:05 especially when Andrew was asking and every response was yes.. "I'm an idiot right? " HAHAHAHA!!!!! Literally rewatched it like 10 times and laughed!
Like the show. I appreciate the respect you show to the people and communities visited. Please don’t sacrifice that for comedy. You’ve set a high bar ….. a class act.
The capital city is apparently the coldest capital city anywhere. And its not even that far up North. I mean You’d expect somewhere far North like Iceland to be fricking cold but it’s Mongolia of all places. Guess the continentality effect is too strong. (the further away from water you are, the more extreme the heat or the cold.)
@@KukiCrusader You are exactly right. Even in the midwest (middle of USA) people don't realize the temperature extremes if they don't live here. It's often hotter than Florida in the summer and the weather can be extreme. I think the Gobi wins on most extreme for having a 60° degree temperature change in a day. That's impressive.
been a subscriber since he only had 191K subs, and I can guarantee that He deserves what He is having now, He work hard for it and not only that in every food travels and reviews of food He is doing , I also felt that I am having the chance to experienced travelling just by watching him. thanks Sonny !!! God bless you and your team ^^ 😉😊😊😊😊
I have watched your videos since you released your very first one and have always enjoyed your content thank you to Sunny and the whole team that make the show possible. Please keep up the good work.👍🏼👍🏼

A translator is like the diplomat haha
the translator has his own youtube channel about Mongolian food culture. i think that is how they get in touch and organized the trip.
Sonny is the guy who breaks the barrier between different cultures to introduce it to the whole world 🌎.
....and he seems to have a special way of connecting with those cultures. Fun to watch him and the people he interacts with, most of the time at least.
Yep, but sadly the whole world doesn’t access him
Because he can eat all the foods that are given to him. Except PICKLES 🥒 LOL 😅
He is a blessing . Connecting us all with this
Many people do that on UA-cam not just him.
Her SKIN Her smile her calm nature! She carried this episode
The hell her skin got to do with anything?? Lol western people are weird 🤣

Mongolian people have the sweetest faces. I love when they smile!
Man, your show is so much better than anything the cable networks put out. Way to go as always!
I absolutely love living vicariously though you boys. I cannot wait for your next foodie adventure…….I’m loving this series and this country so much! Thank you! ❤
I laughed so hard when Andrew imitated Eba eating gamey meat! That was so epic! Replayed that more times than I care to admit!
As a mongolian, it is so fun to watch and great to see how we use literally everything from the camel. Even the humps are used as fat. Great job!
The toe is my favorite part to eat. 😉

Sonny, thank you all these videos. With all the crazy stuff going on in the world, it’s nice to take a shelter in these awesome videos!
Man, those camels were so beautiful with their full winter coats. I never knew they could have a winter coat and summer coat. Very cool to see. Tnx!
It's so amazing to see how they utilize the animal and create so many different dishes from just that one animal (oil, milk, alcohol, dried meat , fresh meat, dumplings, kabobs ect.

Sonny and Egypt has a special bond😂😂
I love it when you and Andrew work together
what I like about you is honesty. you are honest unlike other vloggers. you give a straight opinion. that I like about you.

As someone that spent many hours watching travel shows on travel channel as a kid, this show is in my opinion, the modern version of that. Im not even sure if travel channel still makes shows like this anymore.
Mongolian food is not always like this. Its just our custom that we prepare big meat for our guests.
I think thats true for his whole channel. He should brand himself more strongly as an adventure eater which is the goal of his channel already but, some people can get the wrong impression for sure, I agree.
What is eaten on a normal day?
What is everyday mongolian food to you? I am curious.
What would you normally have? I would love to try to cook something myself if you can tell me the ingredients
@mimi M. Check up art ger
Sunny can't forget the trauma he suffered in Egypt.
Never. I felt the subtle diss he gave them
what was it?
The co host is just amazing, calm, yet very charismatic. Sorry Calvin but I think you got a strong contender for this year's best co host 😁

Most of Mongolians are lactose intolerant. So you’re okay to eat Mongolian dairy products. In Mongolia we have special bacteria that helps us digest lactose.
Everyone has special bacteria in their tummy to help them digest :)
@@tortiz98 he prob means mongolians have a specific type of bacteria that allows them to drink dairy despite being intolerant to lactose
Wasn’t lactose intolerant caused by the lack of said bacteria?
Alot of times guys who are incarcerated for a long period time become lactose intolerant from vitamin deficiencies.
