Boosting by playing with low ranked friends is a form of smurfing. It's low and really shows who you are as a gamer.

I was playing a silver ranked game a week ago, Match MVP going 18-7 before the first half was even over, the enemy team started raging in all chat, next thing i know i can't get kills anymore, 4 rounds later i was kicked from the game and got the "cheater detected" screen. I'd like to think I was the one who made them mad enough to rage cheat even though they didn't single out anyone in specific :D
Had this happen in one of my ranked games a few weeks back. The enemy chamber was holding the perfect angle on my duo despite my duo making NO noise, so there was literally ZERO reason for chamber to be holding that specific angle unless he was walling (inb4 game sense, no there was nothing diamond about his decision to watch the angle he was watching), decided to report for cheating and 3 rounds later got the cheater detected screen lmao.
My favourite games are where it looks like NOBODY is cheating from how bad everyone is, and then boom, red screen.
It’s insane how there’s a shift in the amount of hackers now.. In my fill series, I encountered the red screen for the first time in an Ascendant lobby.
I remember hopping into a death match once and almost right as the match was starting i got the red screen
I had two swiftplays in a row with hackers that got banned, funniest valorant experience of my life.

Had 4 cheaters and 1 absolute bot getting carried yesterday, we mass reported the cheaters until one of them got banned. He was cocky throughout the game and I wish I was able to see his face after getting banned

My poor friend lost her account because while visiting her family, she logged onto valorant from her little brothers pc, who had downloaded hacks for fortnite and COD, and got instantly perma banned, riot wouldn’t undo the ban either, extremely unfortunate.
I actually have a story (it’s been a long time): I was playing on split on attacker side, and there was a Jett with insane aim. I got super upset because I have had aim and reported him. When the next round is about to start I get hit with the ban screen saying somebody was banned. It’s pretty funny to see hackers getting banned lol.
i once had a cheater in swiftplay and I interviewed him as everyone in the lobby just wanted to see his cheats, he said he comes on and tests and finetunes it in noncomp gamemodes as he can joke around, then come to comp and win a couple, he doesn't go too crazy and he managed to cheat since like episode 3 or 4 until recently. I did record it all and reported him, and 2 days later got the feedback he was banned

i played a competitive match on split a few weeks ago we were leading 6-1 and their jett disconnected round 4 after we won the first three, as soon as the jett comes back theres instant cheater detected i think the jett turned hacks on

I got HWID banned and then unbanned after a week, it was a fracture unranked match and I was downloading Apex Legends in steam while playing.
i also happened to have a cheater in my game i think it was an unrated or a swiftplay and the entire lobby didnt even suspect anyone because no one was even a bit "too good" and i dont think anyone even reported the cheater because no one thought there was even a cheater in our game and the cheater detected screen just popped up

literally yesterday, i was playing a game with someone who was extremely obviously toggling. He was on my team for the first game, and me and a fried queued into him on the other team the next game. He went from whiffing every shot, to hitting one taps through smokes. His game sense was awful, but the thing that tipped me off to his hacks was that he kept randomly fully flicking to one side, or completely around and he wasnt even turning, his screen just teleported. He hasn't gotten banned yet (to my knowledge) but i might submit a ticked with riot as theres no chance hes not hacking
I was playing a game with a cheater a while ago. They didn't get banned during the game. They got banned afterwards but they were walling but their aim still wasn't good enough. They did very bad that game.
i got the red screen in a TDM before and still to this day I have no idea who could have been cheating since the lobby had low and high elo in it and no one seemed outwardly sus lol but a TDM??? to cheat in a tdm is wild

My friend literally keeps getting banned for no reason. Last year he got banned so we thought it was something he had running in his background so we let it go. A few months ago after he got unbanned, we were playing unrated and he just suddenly gets banned again. This time he had even reset his pc and everything so he just quit valorant and just played other games lol.
I’m scared rn of the bug that Val tracker and other Valorant tracker apps vanguard might accidentally ban you for since it is a other party extension
I got false permanent suspension for having valorant tracker or something like 7 times and had to ask riot to claer every time
a friend of mine plays this game , i dont really understand it but he said he smurfs or boosts because when you get to "higher ranks" whatever that means; its hard to play alone, i dont know if that true or not but it makes kinda sense.
Watching this video reminds me of how I got a "cheater detected" screen in a custom match with my friends, and we all knew that he wasn't cheating and were all collectively confused as to why he got a warning.
Which made us come to the conclusion that some cheaters probably don't get a full-on ban or suspension, just a warning as that's what he got hit with.
Still don't know why Riot Vanguard thought he was cheating in a custom game to this day
There have been a lot of cheaters in DM lately.
Just a couple in the last month in normal queues. People say they just are having a good game but there is signs when someone is walling. Played enough cs and cs2 to tell with like 80% certainty when someone is hacking as opposed to just good

alot fo games have a mechanic in the game that wont allow higher ranks the ability to queue with some more than a rank below them
also, boosting is againt ToS while smurfing is, so as long as you solo smurf you're good, you just shouldn't queue w anyone else
The "If riot didn't want players to do something, it wouldn't be possible" argument is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard, there's this thing called "exploiting", which is punishable according to riot. It's abusing unpatched features to gain an advantage, that's LITERALLY THE DEFINITION OF WHAT'S GOING ON HERE.

I realise that most hackers play on Californi and Texas servers, because I have never seen that hacker terminated creen until I started playing on those servers and I kidd you not, my first day playing on cali servers after playing this game for 3 years, player terminated. That happened in 3 ranked games in the span of 5 days. And one happened right in our overtime.. 16 - 16. Scrazy

ive had more cheaters in the last week than i have in my entire valorant career
AI cheating becoming more mainstream as people are starting to realize you dont actually need another pc to do it. people use dma cards without the need for another pc and also triggerbots have ALWAYS worked no matter what. theres a reason cheaters with triggerbots continuously aim higher and wider than feels comfortable under the guise of good crosshair placement. its horseshit. i am a player who aims higher and wider than feels comfortable and i personally due to this facet about myself can tell who is and isnt using triggerbots because they aim same height but wider than me. infact i even say to myself this player is gonna 1 tap 2 here....low and behold they do. i consistently get the feel when this is about to happeen whenever i eyeball their crosshair relative to the wall and before they even shoot i already know. most people dont do this so they dont see it and will always chock it up to crosshair placement. also if you think im a copelord im an 1100 hours ascendant 2 phoneix 1 trick with actual radiant friends so im not a bullshitter gold stuck non knower. i really do know. im from tarkov community. you will accidentally make friends with cheaters there due to how many do it over there. it becomes very obvious to us who is and isnt cheating due to the blatancy and familiarity. when i came to val i took everyones word for it when the narrative seemed like cheat accusations are cope lords so i would intentionally not believe my eyes every fight for about 600 of my 1100 hours. by 600 hours in when i started getting decent at d1 i couldnt unsee what i was seeing. its exactly what happens in tarkov when i watch their discord streams but its every 10th game due to val being better anti cheat. still. noticing it 1 in every 10 games is soul sucking. i continued to put hours in despite this because atleast its not tarkov but its still shit. diamond and ascendant is where everybody is using triggerbots. they usually get caught if they try to go to immortal. im ascendant stuck and its blatant as hell in my rank. im seeing way too many overperformers in my rank and when i check their trackers they have headshot percentages in the 38 percent range which if you dont know is unreasonable considering tenz is 30 percent. basically the only people getting 35 40 percent that arent pros are guarentee cheating. theres only one way to feasibly get this headshot percentage. you have to throw the game in order to get headshots. but this reflects their performance in the games. also these underperformers are usually in paltinum max. the ones who retain that headshot in ascendant and up are literally always cheaters. valorant doesnt approve of this as evidence so the accounts are never banned. this is how you can prove to yourself the frequency of cheaters. val devs FOR SOME REASON think data isnt enough unless rage hacking 100 percent headshot. its a joke.

I got false banned for cheating in valorant and whats crazy is i just deranked to silver 3 and was bot fragging. i tried to appeal but they said "We have undeniable proof that you were using third party software." even though i wasn't.
Having a virus like a rootkit can falsely flag the AC unfortunately. Either that, or your account was compromised.

The point for “cheating” in unranked and swift plays is that you don’t cheat. Vanguard can trigger on any software that you using, and it doesn’t matter is it cheats or just music player or some development tools. You’ll get a permanent ban and no options to prove that you didn’t even search for cheats
the false ban one is very common actually, i got banned in roblox of all things the other day because i had fh5 open and i was shitting myself i thought i had a virus or somthing lmao
there was once an gekko in my game was clearly wall hacking and had aim lock but still whiffed a lot of his shots and was that only one in the lobby going negative
My main theory why valorant refuses to add a replay system is because if would showcase how many closet cheaters there actually are and how trash vanguard anti cheat is despite literally digging root deep in ur pc for no good reason

I know it wasn’t a terribly long ban, but my friend was playing roblox w/ an autoclicker because some games allow them, and then he hopped onto Valorant but forgot to close out the autoclicker. Riot banned him for three months because of the “third party software”.

i saw an angry bronze reyna cheating on a throwaway account once and i was genuinely so mad because it took almost the entire match before the match was cancelled and the "cheater detected" message displayed. before that happened tho i told him his mom never loved him :)

There's two types of hacker, the ones that doesn't car about anything and just completely hack and the ones who try to hide it. Both are bad, but one isn't that bad to play against.

The current cheats are smart enough to only enable them for a few rounds instead of enabling them throughout the game.
What’s nuts is I’ve played since beta. Got a key from a stream. Haven’t really taken a big break from the game. I can count on one hand the amount of red screen alerts I’ve gotten.

Just had a cheater detected message in an Unrated today. First time every seeing the message lol
I had a bind match where the enemy pheonix had wall hacks not aimbot maybe he didnt enable it we guessed it on a whim and reported him after we stayed at a specific location near the tunnel and without fear nor checking angles i guess he ran straight through main and still whiffed on our entire team (he got banned after 3 or 4 rounds i think)
i think riot is not aware of the existance of trigger bot, its a new cheat going around which is on your monitor screen so the vanguard does not detect it and it shots a bullet whenever there is a enemy on the screen. one of my ingame friends climbed to ascendant from Gold with the help of that trigger bot and a lot of other people are using it too

2:08 someone got banned for turning on auto clickers mid game, doesn’t have to be cheats. Vanguard bans if a 3rd party app is detected even if it’s not intentional (had a friend get banned midgame for a similar reason lol)
An anticheat being intrusive doesn't necessarily mean It's better.

I got false perma banned before, for 7 months riots horrible bot support said it was perm and was not a mistake. Found a way to message a Vanguard employee and got IMMEDIATELY unbanned. Riot support really sucks unless you can be lucky like me and that other dude in the video.

I got banned for cheating not so long ago. So I opened a ticket and asked Riot to look at my account, because I wasn't. They said the account looks fine and after that everything went back to normal. Props to the people at Riot and ty again :)

Just report for cheating. Vanguard doesn't scan all the time. Reporting a player forces their Vanguard to scan.

the fact vanguard is a kernel level anti-cheat is the very reason ill never download riot. all it takes is for them to do one "soft patch" and change its coding to take information. besides trying to uninstall all of riot's stuff normally results in a green screen and system restart.
I had blatant cheaters that aimbotted and walled not get banned, despite acing few seconds in every round and already locking on heads through walls so idk man I only seen that screen once in 3 years 😢
Today I 5 staked with my boys and in the first competitive match of the day we got an hacker it was an instant ban not even 10 s into the game it was my first live ban I have experienced

the valorant community cope so hard pretending cheating is not a valorant issue....this is the csgo community lol. ofcourse cheaters are everywhere in val. not getting red screens alot means the shit doesnt work. red screens should be popping up all the time because the idea that val cheating is hard is a challenge to cheat devs and more profitable other than the tarkov community lol. why in a game provoking cheaters to cheat and inflated with people not using their mains with 20 plus accounts resulting in maybe 4 to 5 cheater detected screens a year for a 1100hr player(myself)...its because the shit doesnt work haha. people are dumb as dog shit and will just believe the running narrative instead of questioning market diplomacy dictating developments and events lol. people legit dont even realize they dont think for themselves.
