I've been watching a lot of PowerVolley Milano on UA-cam and noticed his array of kills, and I think you are right - he is the craftiest player. His reception is one of the best for Italian league, and his serve seems to be getting better. Fun player to watch.
I'd definitely like to see more volleyball ratings out of a hundred! that would make it easier to do top 10 videos as well lol. ALSO, I expected to see taylor sander in here but I guess I would associate him more with finesse instead of craft. His roll shot is amazing though
Nice Video.....its really hard to find this kind of mindset on international stage. I have never seen him a lot but if i go by the videos i have seen on youtube he really seems to be crafty. The only other guy i can think of is Uros.
There's a lot of guys who are as crafty or even more than Clevenot. He is one of the top, sure, but I don't agree he is the best. The best in my opinion are Kovacevic and Kubiak, they have got soooo many possibilities, it's crazy, they are very inventive in attack. There's also players like Petrić, Urnaut, Ngapeth, Kwolek etc., who are just as crafty and who use a lot of tips, rolling of the ball, these are the type of players who use the opponnent's block very effectively. Nice video, tho.
I like your commentary. Especially the grading system. Could you speak about the Canadian men's team a bit more. Also the Japanese men's team is pretty exciting. Do you think they have a chance against big teams like Poland and Russia or will their height advantage be too much to overcome? Thanks and best regards from Canada!!! Also players such as Ngapeth and Wallace are pretty crafty too!!!
Sliwka is the player I saw that it’s very hard to depend. You can’t predict what kind of attack he makes. That kind of player are very hard to read in attacking.
FiveOne Volleyball I cannot say a only one, it’s very difficult to judge, there are a lot of players like neghape, Wallace Sousa, Anderson, lucarelli...
All of those are amazing players, but they all rely on a standard attack (except Ngapeth). Clevenot is not the best traditional hitter, so he must rely on "crafty" tips and roll shots.
FiveOne Volleyball sure, he’s a smart player as a lot of others, I’m not saying he is Not a craft player”, I’m saying he is not the craftiest one, take a look at lipe from Brazil, the way he plays or Mika from Poland...
Well when you think of crafty players you think of Uros Kovacevic, Earvin Ngapeth, and Michal Kubiak. Wallace, Lucarelli, and Anderson aren't what you would call crafty in that they are you traditional consistent and smart hitters. Clevenot, Kovacevic, Kubiak, and Ngapeth aren't considered traditional in that they tend to tip, roll, and wipe a lot more than traditional hitters. For example, Kovacevic will consistently look for the 3 meter cross court roll shot and will always look for a wipe or block out, because of how low he usually contacts the ball. Ngapeth is crafty is the sense he is not a system player; on the French team he has the green light to pull out back row sets, 180 reverse swings, option plays, and windmill swings, because he has a reliable opposite in Boyer and just as crafty and reliable setter in Toniutti. This goes for Kubiak as well, Kubiak is very undersized for the outside position, but unlike many outside who tend to like high sets or tempo sets all the way to the ping, Kubiak is always there for a back quick and will effortlessly run plays with his middle to open up the opposite. Clevenot, unlike all the other players mentioned, doesn't really looked to swing hard, a majority of his points come from wipes, tips, and roll shots. You rarely see him swing hard unless he only has a single blocker, but even then he will be looking for an easier option.
4:52 oh my god
I'd love to see a video on Uros Kovacevic. He seems to have every shot in the game and tools everyone.
I really like this type of content. Please make more! :)
Too bad his shoulder is injured. Hope he's back in shape before WCH! France needs him.
Do Ben Patch, that'd be sick, but legit been looking for a theory based vball channep for ages and im so glad i found your channel
Very informative!! Helps to understand and therefore appreciate more this great game.

Never seen this type of content, you the 🐐.
He was super important in france's win in the olympics !
And even in this year's victory, he played the semi-final and final at monstrous levels.

Excelent video! Keep it up!
Ngapeth and Wallace for me. They're just outstanding😍

And now he's an olympic gold medalist too
make more of these
I don't know if he's the smartest but he's certainly the most intelligent one around the volleyball courts.
Can you do your next video on the cowardice and ultimate impotence of the contemptible traitor Gülen?
probably not
what position does he play
Opposition
Kubiak is by far the best technical player .... I think this review needs an update :)
Jesteś tego pewien? Clevenot dał wspaniały występ w Paryżu zarówno przeciwko Włochom, jak i przeciwko tobie
I still think his weakness is his serve though
Don't think so... His float serve is really good and the reception is having troubles, but yes, he coule improving it even more, you're right
Kovacevic
Another good one
turn uo the volume of your voice. great vid but can barely hear you
He’s a good player btw but he’s not and he was never the craftiest player in the world at all 😭😭
Who do you think is the craftiest player?
