- Scallop Pasta has just a few ingredients but once mixed together they are simply the perfect pairing - imagine it: cherry tomatoes, parsley, lemon zest, garlic and chilli, then add the hero of the dish, fresh scallops, lightly seared and bursting with flavour. If you’re unsure where to start with cooking seafood, this is the ideal dish - super easy but exploding with aromas of the mediterranean. Y-U-M.

INGREDIENTS FOR 2 PEOPLE
300g/10.5oz Fettuccelle/Spaghetti/Fettuccine Pasta
Fresh/Dry chilli
12 scallops (approc 6 pp)
2 garlic cloves
Cherry tomatoes
1 lemon
Fresh parsley (chopped)

Tried this tonight - its my first time cooking scallops, let alone scallop pasta lol! Was creamy, fresh, full of distinct flavors and almost made me cry with happiness. Thank you Vincenzo!

Scallops cook within a few minutes but even though I cooked them longer they turned out amazing..Do you like the Pasta shape I picked for this recipe?
I thought that maybe the scallops should all come out of the pan when the tomatoes went in, then put back later.
Garlic with chili and scallops great combination.
I would have removed the scallops after seared, then added back at the end my brother!
My personal thought was that the pasta should have been cooked earlier and timed to be finished when the tomatoes were taken out. It appears that everything got overcooked/overdone, as a result. Wonderful looking recipe, Vincenzo.

Pasta in boiling water 1st. The sauce shouldn't take more than 10 min
So I came here for scallops but Vincenzo's personality is everything :)

This is my perfect meal. There is nothing here I don't absolutely love! Scallops often get overlooked when it comes to seafood dishes and that's probably because they are so easy to overcook but done right, they are perfect vessels of sweet, slightly briny flavor. When cooked properly, they have a firm bite that yields instantly to a tender, silky middle. I might be tempted to use shells, cavatelli, or even orecchiette to get the pasta and scallops in the same bite, but the tagliatelle is more beautiful. Edit: I have everything I need to make this in my kitchen right now. I'm making it tonight!
