This just rocks! Glad to add it to my CCR playlist. Those drums... that bass... that rhythm guitar... WOW! Ha! I like this music better this way without having to hear the lead singer who has spent the last near 50 years trashing his former bandmates including his now deceased older brother, claiming they were not good musicians, making claims that he snuck back in the studio and replaced their bass, rhythm guitar, drum parts and all their back ground vocals, making it out that he was like a one man band and they were like nothing more than faces or cardboard cut-outs or something - which is ALL bull$#!%! He had me believing it for years, blaming the other guys for the breakup of CCR, and actually hating them... until I started dissecting the LIVE recordings and the bootleg concerts that came out on the Blind Pig label and other stuff I managed to get copies of and THEN hearing the master tracks and stems and instrumental versions of some of their songs which have appeared here and there on the web and UA-cam.. all one has to do is compare CCR's records to the lead singer's solo albums that he played all the instruments on and VOILA... Deja Vu NOTHING he has ever done even comes close to what these FOUR guys recorded and or played live in concert! He is NOT the artist formerly known as Creedence - that is a BIG freakin' LIE! You notice I did not mention his name... I used to think the sun rose and set on him as a rock hero until I learned the TRUTH! I don't deny his talents but as a person I am hugely disappointed in him and no longer think he is as great as I once did or as great as he says he is. He's a legend and a genius in his own mind. This clown either LIED to Dick Clark on Bandstand when he was asked, "I see your name all over the album covers, you're the Producer, the Arranger, the main songwriter, the lead guitar and vocalist. How does the band come up with their songs? Do you write them all from start to finish or does anyone else get in on the act?" He told Dick Clark, "Well, I write the basic song, unless it's a cover tune, and we all work it out together, all four of us in a room with our instruments, everyone having some input into the whole thing, everyone adding a word here or a phrase there, trying out licks and riffs, drum beats and rhythms, guitar strums and bass lines, and so on until we fine tune it. Everyone contributes their ideas. It's not like I'm a dictator although I have the final say but we work things out to where we all agree to what's best for each song as a group, as a band. I couldn't do it alone; we're a band." BUT - that's not what he has been saying since CCR broke up in 1972.
