the tree theory makes sense too me, I picture it as like the roots of the tree was before time was before existence they were all spread and they have all started somewhere without starting then they met in the middle to for the base of the tree, that’s where the chaos comes in. It’s like the timelines in the middle of the tree kind of just leave each other because it’s easier to stray away and there’s the branches. The branches off the branches could be something totally different like a spark in reality which kind of blows up and leaves us to start their own timeline. I know it might not make sense buts that’s how I picture it which is why I love space and always seem to learn something off it which I would never think to ever exist.

I wouldn't say that, I think it's just more that he recognizes that we've learned a lot since the time of Newton, and as smart of a man as he was, he didn't have as great an understanding of space-time as we now know, largely thanks to Einstein. Had Newton been a contemporary of Einstein and had the same knowledge as Einstein did, I think most people would consider it fair to say that he would've been right up there with Einstein in the progression of our understanding of relativity.

So these things just haven't been discovered yet.
knowing these, I feel gratefulness for being experiencing and alive and feels there are forces managing to make us exist.

The sacred timeline as was shown in the loki series is a selection of universes allowed to exist not just one universe, its like a small multiverse

I'm afraid that the TVA would abduct this man after this.
Oh I hope not
TVA is Disney.
I learned a lot of these things when I was a bit younger. Although they aren't new to me, I'm happy to see Michio Kaku explain the concepts to get people interested and invested.
Kaku is one of the biggest names in Physics world.
I can't believe he is here in Wired to explain something about a movie. Awesome scientist.
I'm lucky to have read Michio Kaku's book on multiverses prior to the MCU adopting the multiverse concept. I could relate easily when a movie touches on parallel worlds.
this physician kept me entertained the whole time. Hope i get chance to see him again.
Physicist** A physician is a medical doctor.
Hats off to this man, he explained everything so easily and simple, that even I (being a non-native english speaker and no physicist at all) could understand the whole idea of existing parallel universes.
Reminds me of Dragon Ball Z. Trunks saved "our" Goku, but "his" Goku is still dead
Reminds me of why Mirai Trunks was the closest that DBZ had to a hero.
And the Zamasu Arc
First time I am seeing a theoretical physicist seriously talking about cinema. It's amazing 🤩
This Loki series was so great. I hope it has a season 2. ❤️
I became attracted to science after seeing Iron Man 1. Indeed Marvel is doing a great job 👍
Do you know 'Forrest Valkai'?
He is like Michio Kaku,
but as a Bio-Teacher.
He also simplifies stuff and explains stuff.
MCU is on another level.

in the new age of the cinematic universe, Marvel is clearly in the lead with Star Wars right behind. they are practically the only real players in the game
The last time I saw Professor Michio Kaku he was designing a solar sail out of nanofibers (or something along that line), good to know he's doing great
Yes he has proposed this idea in future of humanity too
About solar sails and nano starships using it to reach 50 to 60 percent the speed of light😗😗😗😗
@@utkarshraj1745 wow this guy had big name

I think michio is amazing he takes these complex subjects and explains them in a way your average jo can understand.

It's cool that we now have so many scientists who are bridging the gap between scientific theories and average folk. Yes these are very simplistic metaphors to capture complex ideas, but if it gets even just one young person to pry further into science, it's a win in my book
Oh man seeing brilliant people like him getting older makes me sad
Everything he knows will be stored somewhere.
His methodology of elaboration is awesome. ❤️
Probably the only intresting physics class ive been in
Wow this is the most understable explanation of multiverse for me. This is mind blowing
I just love this guy... A scientist but not as arrogant...
Wow. Michio Kaku has aged gracefully. I remember watching him on Discovery Science during childhood.
They really got Michio Kaku and called the video "Theoretical Physicist..." That's like making a compilation of Michael Jordan's best plays and calling it "basketball man plays basketball"
EDIT: We did it bois! ft. Michio Kaku!!
I thought the same thing....He's the most prolific author and expert on this topic they could've gotten and they don't even put his name. Recognizing his face is the reason I clicked on the video.
right!
Their video titles always start that way🤷🏻♀️ People know who he is anyway so it’s fine
Well not everyone know him, me for instance. Also aren't all wired expert video titles styled that way?
Ikr, why don’t they name the other clip “voice assistants of Apple, Amazon and Google answer webs most searched questions”
Life “as we know it” doesn’t exist. It will be something else there. It may even be sentient.
the tree theory makes sense too me,
I picture it as like the roots of the tree was before time was before existence they were all spread and they have all started somewhere without starting then they met in the middle to for the base of the tree, that’s where the chaos comes in.
I 've been dubbed a many names by many people, "The Quantum Physicist", "The Explainer", "The One Who Dissects Theories", "A Nerd"! But it's....it's not as simple as a name!

Great video. Glad to see Michio Kaku doing popular science still.
He's my favorite scientist ♥ And his books about parallel universes are awesome!
Looks like Michio Kaku loves Einstein more than Newton.
@@torresmat10 just joking bro but I do agree with you.
