    You nailed it. Complete supply chain break down. The warehouse I'm at just lost half our work force in a week. Can't receive inbound fast enough, can't stock fast enough, can't pull orders fast enough, or get them packed or shipped fast enough.
    As far as the components and all, that seems to be catching up slowly, but surely. Only time will tell.
    Great shooting. Thanks for sharing 👍🇺🇸🤘

      At the C/B.P. (not saying their name, because I like the stores) distribution center that my wife works, there are an estimated 100+ trailers sitting in their drop lot! Loaded! My wife has been working 12-14 hours almost every day for over a year! And more people are quitting each day! The D.C. Manager just got the boot because he was focusing on the online orders, and not store replenishment 😡
      As a former Manager of a 1M sq/ft (over 400 employees) warehouse, I know what kind of a balancing act it is to get product IN, inventoried, and shipped back OUT. And THAT'S why I went back to driving a truck, less stress 😉
      My company (largest paint co. in the world) is trying to move product with the current labor shortages. It's a learning process, and in the next few weeks I should know if it's working 👍🇺🇸

      And the V.P. of operations for C/B.P. is currently running the Distribution Center, and focusing on store replenishment. I've been having correspondence with this gentleman for almost 4 months, and hopefully some of our conversations will help? I had to establish my bona fides with him before he'd understand. But I don't usually wave my degrees in people's faces.

      @@Jerry-dk8se hopefully they listen and get back on track. But, 100+ trailers is quite the back log 😳

      I still like .357 power. Of course it's not .44 mag, but these move the plates more than my higher powered 45LC rounds do! 😯 But these are moving 500 fps faster, too.

      For most of her life, she's never been around firearms. I'm pretty proud of how good of a student she is, and I have a lot of fun on the rare occasions we get to shoot together.
      Hopefully the supply-chain/labor issues were explained halfway? There's a lot more, but it would require whiteboards and longer to explain in more detail, and I wanted to spare everyone 😉

      Unfortunately, I predict that the supply-chain is going to be further impacted, soon. With fuel shortages beginning to ramp up, and fuel prices going higher each day, shortages of everything is going to be a new normal in the near future

      Relatively lower priced than a lot of the high-end 1x red dots. Uncle Jim was pleasantly surprised when he shot the Ruger PC9 with it. Ask him about it next time. Old eyes need all the help we can get! 😂🤣 Thanks, Julio 👍🇺🇸

      Mandates are NOT law! And I had that conversation with my Management about it, last week. Nevada's Governor is trying really hard to copy COMMIE-FORNIA. 😡 My regional headquarters are in Reno. This entire charade is going to sink the entire economy, but that's what certain people want! 😡

      The West Desert of Utah... haven't measured, but 70-80 miles before I hit Nevada? 😂🤣
      I have to go there if I want to shoot past 100 yards. It's a good long range, and since it was a holiday when I recorded this, I knew that the 25-100 yard area I use for handgun shooting would be full, and I'm all alone in the west desert 😉

    good stuff Jerry, the battle of ecommerce and brick and mortor is huge right now, the wage war is keeping me right where I'm at

    • @Jerry-dk8se
      @Jerry-dk8se  3 роки тому

      Brick and mortar stores is the backbone of my company. I deliver to all of the stores, large and small. But in 2A related business, some companies prefer e-commerce, and some companies are still dedicated to walk in traffic in their stores. If I walk into a Cabela's, I go right to the items I'm after. Then I walk through the store, looking to see if there's something I can't live without 😉
      But online shopping is usually just for items I'm looking for, and very seldom do I shop for extra items. 🤔

    Jerry what would be a good thumper powder I have 158gr 38cal mold but I need to look for good slow burning powder.

    • @Jerry-dk8se
      @Jerry-dk8se  3 роки тому +1

      I use Unique for so many of my loads, Johnny. I can get good case fill and good velocities with it. I don't have my charts with me right now, but some of the powders I've been using are HP38, Unique, 2400 and recently Accurate #5. Now that I got the 8# jug of S.W. Heavy Pistol, I'm told that this will be a close competitor to 2400. I'll be starting on that powder in the next few weeks.
