Being barefoot is of course always the best option, also for the benefits of grounding, but these shoes are a blessing for all times one needs to be shod! Thank for the great video ❤
Great roundup, love the Vivo Primus Mesh style! i got a pair of Origo lately and was pleasantly surprised by their looks and quality. Would be curious to hear your thoughts on Lems or Birchbury for their slightly dressier options.
My absolute perferance when it comes to minimal barefoot shoes is feelgrounds. I thin Zaqq are also nice. Still what I miss is a brand that works with innovative materials in barefoot shoes like mushroom leader, pinatex, cork,…
My dude! Great review of all these barefoot/non barefoot shoes haha. Been digesting all your content for years brother! Thankful for your insights, passion, quality, and detail in all you do! One shoe I have heard a lot about lately is the Icarus Ascent. They come in white or black leather. They also come with 3 pairs of insoles, 1 pair of toe spacers , and 2 pairs of shoelaces all for $144.99! I’ve been waiting for my Vivo Geo Courts to kick before trying them out. Let me know what ya think!
thanks for the comment brother, means a lot. Wow just checked out their site, I can't believe I've never heard about them before. I love what I see, I'll definitely have to try them out!
My issue with barefoot shoes is that they aren't good for foot problems. Especially if 2nd toe is longer because this type of foot doesn't pronate off the big toe like feet are supposed to. My corrected foot feels better in them but my other foot still needs surgery so I get nerve pain. Maybe I can do Barefoot shoes more often after 2nd foot surgery. Still, I love my hey, dudes in the summer. They arent advertised as barefoot but they have wide box and insole is basically nothing. I can remove the insole and put the orthopedics in them to reduce toe pain but hiking sandy trails still results in lactic acid for my feet muscles. Podiatrist said walking in the sand is the best for strengthening feet. I find that SUP is also. I am just actualky barefoot for weight training. I workout at a climbing gym so it's ok. It's normal there. I only wear traditional shoes for work and mountain hikes or street walks.
You are forgetting a lot of shoes. Feom Vivo you have the geo court, gobi sneaker, gobi 3(and all the gobi’s) and the Ra. You also have Barebarics and Groundies.
I hand knit my socks with ergonomic toes. I think smart wool is good for store bought because they have more sizes. For example standard women's socks are meant to fit size 7 to 9. Smart wool M I'd this size so small ladies can not have extra sock in their shoes. They have size L for the larger ladies feet. The men's has at least a couple sizes too.

My biggest problem with Vivo is that they don't sell half sizes.

What are your favorite wide toebox socks? I can’t seem to find any…

What can I wear to the office? Some of the shoes really look off
like dress up with a suit or more casual?
@@wellnessdaddy yes with a suit
Birchbury and Carets are the most well known brands for barefoot dress shoes. Lems and Softstar have some options as well depending on your style.
go check out Lono barefoot shoe...
12:26 if i remember well- they have identical stack of 5,5 mm- both primus lite and feelgrounds....maybe you think vivo is more thick bcs of insole
