A Backlead With A BIG Difference | Pole Position Grip-on Safeweight

The completely unique ‘Grip-On Safeweight‘ from end tackle masterminds, Pole Position, is the ideal way to pin down the last few feet of line/leader to the lakebed. Yeah you can also just use a Y shaped stick as a rod rest, a lump of mud as a bobbin and a coin along with a tobacco tin to act as the bite alarm. Save some more money and buy beers for the next 3 sessions
Also bin bags wrapped over your shoes for a cheap pair of wellies that you can take of at the end to bag up all your beer cans with :)

If i fish with a bait boat its normally up to a island etc and i would worry about missing drop back bites if this was clipped 6ft or more behind my rig and if you added 2 you would get no bite detection if the fish came back towards you or at a right angle.
