Cincinnati Children’s Shares the Love for Valentine’s Day and Heart Month
Cutie pie, sweetheart, be mine, and true love are just a few of the things parents are saying to their little loves in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and cardiovascular intensive care unit (CICU) at Cincinnati Children’s.
The hospital is providing babies in those units with special custom onesies to celebrate their first Valentine’s Day and heart month.
Babies Lilian and Delila are both currently in the NICU. Lilian was born two weeks early and has been in the NICU for about a week. Her mom Megan says she couldn’t have asked for a better gift for Valentine’s Day. They hope to get home soon.
Babies Cora and Jae are both currently in the CICU. Jae’s mom Brin is grateful for the multiple care teams that are paying close attention to his complex medical needs. Jae is currently being evaluated to see if he will need a heart transplant.
