Buffing old classes? With a design philosophy that gives them clear strengths and weaknesses but still allows them to at least be competitive at what they do in the current meta? This is a precedent I could really get used to.
The game is still easy since the enemies are so simple, it's nice to see more complex classes but IMO it's still unrewarding when all the enemies do nothing but use 1 attack and they can all be steamrolled anyway
I actually love that this class isn’t just another top-tier spam all your skills class, and that it encourages team play. Strongly considering getting a Guardianship in AQ classic just for this.

I hope they do something to Dragonlord similar to what the class is in Dragon Fable, where you have 2 separate items the Patience and Rage, to change the class stats to offensive or defensive , they could be consumables like the Chrono Corruptor hourglasses, that would be cool.

Hope they dont change it honestly. The class is still solid in my opinion. Not every class needs to have 500000 buffs and a nuke. Thats so repetitive with new classes.
Can ANYONE please tell me how to activate the two secret Easter egg auras associated with this class? It’s at the very bottom of the design notes for the update. Someone said it may be just using one of the awe enhancements but I haven’t seen anything

I guess you cant have everything on a class. Vhl has also a drawback, 2 skills drain your health (i mean you can generate health) and also its not multi hit.

It’s about damn time the amount of useless classes that existed back in 2011-2016. I stopped playing for about 4 years....finally some balancing.

It has a heal and buff which can directly involve his character in other players fights in which their kills also grants him CP.

Just got back on the game the other day, lvl 41 and got a 29k crit with this class in a room of 7 people.
All of my high crits are with the hypercritical ability and I am normally able to spam the 3rd ability when I get the water ability that steals mana.
Design notes says there are 2 more easter eggs. Something from adventure quest will empower the guardian. My guess is blade of awe or guardian blade.x
